I been off the road for 22 yrs. my last was a 82 KW with 400 Cat and a 5 & 4 4:11 gears......... your truck took me back to a simple time ..... thank you Mr Brinkley kudos to your Son for his support also
Hope both you guys are doing good and hope your family is well you did a phenomenal job on the truck it looks absolutely great your dad reminds me a whole lot of my grandfather be safe and have a good day
Beautiful Kenworth!...I drove a 1969 KW 335 cummins, 5x4 trans., it wasn't geared for speed, but the pulling power was a kick-ass, especially transporting heavy equipments.
It is just awesome that there are "old" people like he who cares the machine and keeps it in good quality for the next generations. For sorry, most members of the new generations are not worth for experiencing these vintage machines...
A good story to go with her to. My FIL passed but drove these trucks when they were New and I was a Mechanic for IHC Truck Dealer. So Round table discussion after he retired was full of stories. Mostly true with colorful commentary. Dang old Iron gets in your blood.

The “Ol’ Girl” is still a head turner and lends definition to “keep on truckin’”. Beautiful...a labor of love and money.
