I have been there many of times. It’s something that you just have to see in person. It’s amazing.

Never did I know that hearing belching, farting and overall discont filled blobs would bring me joy and peace 💕
we love and need these nature segments!!
Ellies!!! Love 'em. I volunteered at The Marine Mammal Center in Sausalito where the elephant seal pups would be cared for, from tubing to fish school, to cleaning their pens and pools. Miss them.
We use to go there to watch the whales~ Was wonderful in the 80'-90's... Happy to see this wonderful footage...
They're like huge, cute slugs!
This show captures some of the most amazing moments.
A Southern California Coastal staple. My dad was a scuba diver in the area back in the late 50s and 60s. He had many encounters.
I'm wondering if you are actually referring to California sea lions, not elephant seals. I say that because the elephant seal population in California is limited to just two or 3 locations, none of which are in Southern California. The sea lions, on the other hand, are absolutely all over our southern coastline.

After the havoc caused by humans, it's nice to see animals...in many ways, they are more civilized...
They are!

Their call sounded like water filling up an empty bucket. Thanks for broadening my awareness of nature.
I've never wanted to be an elephant seal more than I do right now.
I thought my stomach was the only space that sounds like a road crew hitting the asphalt with the break up shovel after unknowingly eating animal by-product. That's gotta be fish-gah breath!

How can anyone dislike this?
Have never seen these type of seals before but saw CA seals in San Diego a few years ago. Could not get over how big they were. I don’t know if they make any sounds bc the ones I saw were sleeping the day away on buoys and docks
take my money! this was great
Imagine having to lug a big schnozz around like that all your adult life.
Hahaha!
My backyard
Too bad Trump is killing people in your front yard.
Kinda sloth like...

Where was this segment filmed?
San Simeon California
John, if you click on the down arrow to the right just under the video, there is usually a description of the video.
It’s in San Simeon , where Hearst castle is. North of Cambria, California. It’s beautiful there.
Sounds like a pile driver.
