Why didn’t he just Scourge 15:15
To play around Frostwyrm's Fury (and any subsequently generated ones).
I guess for the same reasoning that he explained a minute or two earlier. He'd effectively board lock himself from playing any of his other minions, while the Death Knight only needs one or two AOE freezes (the risk of them having it was high) to keep him locked down and win the game.
There are pros and cons to both. The scourge would board lock him but has huge potential with lifesteal, taunt and more. He could follow up with a counter spell but he wouldn’t risk it. I would have done it but his path paid off
he was overthinking it. It was definitely the right play.
