Just discovered your channel and man am i glad i did. Big fan of your editing style, it's nice and quick making all of your videos easy and fun to watch, while also staying informative and interesting. Excited to see the channel evolve and grow !
Wow! What an incredible story! I haven't ever had anything that amazing, but it always touches me when people older than me share their own knowledge or experience, like watching something when it first came out. Also, I'm simultaneously amazed that you don't have 1000 subs yet AND that you reached that many subs on so few videos. Your channel is the very example of quality over quantity! (and I'm not just buttering you up to get an Odorama card, honest! I know it's random!)
Thank you so much. Happy to hear you liked the story, it was so crazy as it was unfolding in real time as initially I had absolutely no idea who George was. And thank you for the support. No 1000 subs yet, but sooner or later we will figure this whole RUclips thing out :)
Yes Quality over quantity is the way to go. Someone picking boogies out of their nose may get 12 million views but I'd rather watch something a bit higher on the intellectual scale!
To win one of the 12 Odorama Cards, simply: 1. Leave a comment under this video 2. Send me a screenshot of the comment either via email or an instagram DM: @tonivgenov On July 17, 2023, I will randomly select 12 winners and get in touch with them about contact information. Again, I will send it anywhere in the world, for free. Of course, also feel free to check out George’s channels. They are not monetised and purely for the love of film: Pioneers of Cinema: www.youtube.com/@Pioneers_Of_Cinema Classic Movie Trailers: ruclips.net/channel/UCadR_SOJ_roFBkzzY9bzOFg RainScratch: www.youtube.com/@rainscratch George, ya legend! Thank you for everything! - Toni
I would love a card! Odorama is maybe my favorite film gimmick of all time and as a huge fan of Polyester to begin with, I imagine that would only increase my appreciation for the film!
There's so many great moments in Polyester. Edith Massey playing the eccentric wealthy friend and her butler/driver Heintz. Tab Hunter as the romeo Todd Tomorrow, with ulterior motives. The Art-House Drive In. Francine's be-wigged husband owner of a porno theatre, and her delinquent children. The Stompr. And of course Divine's amazing performance as the hapless housewife trying to make a nice life for herself. And.. all the odors.
Greetings from Svilengrad old friend.. I hope you remember your old pal :D! Count me in for the smelly cards and keep it up with the content creating. My personal opinion is that you are nailing it so far!
It is from a Photoplay yearbook - all the 1934 issues - and lots of other interesting articles and photos are in it. I'll send some more to Toni - including that full Chaplin article. The woman who really discovered Chaplin has been forgotten.
Thank you Toni.
Legend detected.
Thank YOU, George!

Love to hear it. Thank you so much! I've got some really exciting projects in the works so I hope you stick around.
That’s so cool! I remember seeing some of his comments, didn’t think he owned a theater in Australia with that much notoriety!
Small world, I'm sure he'd be happy to hear that!
Thank you - hope my input is interesting and informative.
