Well done uploading a video that acknowledges a couple of fails. It happens to everyone regularly in this game. I think talking about how to deal with it might help some newer players from developing a habit of reaching for their wallet to "fix" a fail. Better to develop patience and an appreciation of the slow burn enjoyment you can get out of the game despite some short term frustrations.

You're right about Goffred. I think Freya and Goffred might be a viable combo. Like you said, Goffred completely negates dmg when ally is hit with a fatal attack which means Freya's passive won't proc because the champ's health isn't falling below 1hp. Great insight, Colred!

My condolences to you sir, I hope things start looking up for you with the video uploads. And I understand your pain, I've been no-spend time and time again on this game. It's crazy to me that they have still not included you into the content creator program. As for me, I didn't even touch my sacreds. I'm still holding those as well as my fat, big boy soul stones in case if they include those as well for points. I pulled 64 out of the 96 void shards that I had, and received my 1st Leorius.
incidents can happen, is important how we go about them. I narrowly missed the fragment milestone in Dungeon Divers II, was tired and distracted. there were 2 routes I could go: participate in the current summon rush and in the extra summon rush in order to make up for the 25 lost fragments, or abandon the current summon rush and focus on the next one and get all 50 points there. I think this way is a bit better, and it MIGHT save me some shards, but I cannot be sure.
That has certainly happened to me. Almost happened to me this fusion with the first artifact enhancement event. I think you're making the right call - wait until the bonus Summon Rush to see if you can potentially save some shards. If not, you'll still have a shot at completing the fusion if you want. And if so, your distraction may end up being to your benefit. I hope it works out for you!
As a 10k celebration vid, it would be nice to get to see your recording area and setup. Of course we'll expect Sun to show us his cupboard under the stairs where he lives when not editing your video's.

It happens. Pulled 6 got food. I was going to go for Freyja until I realised she does not cut in, heal and give instant effect. Unlike Goffred, who does cut in and places block damage, she doesn't stop the attack on multi-hitters. Like you, I realised her a1 is pretty useless because her shield will be massive (potentially) so she becomes even less value because she isn't pumping out that a1 which also has a low chance to proc fully booked. The a1 needs to change to, is removed, broken, or expires, to have any value, and the passive either needs to cut in completely and grant the extra turn, or the heal value needs to be 60%+ to give the champ a chance to survive multi hits. For those reasons, I'm passing on Freyja, who I thought initially was the strongest of the 4 champs by initial kit reading, but came to realise, she is the weakest of them instead. I don't need her in the state she is in, so I'm keeping my resources for the probable Thor soul instead, which is 10x more valuable than Freyja imo.
I hear you. I still think her A3 is incredibly valuable, and she could be a very strong support/tank carry for mid-game players. Additionally, there's always a chance her kit gets tweaked in the future, improving the utility of her A1, her passive, or both. PLUS, she's very cool looking! I'll be happy to add her to my roster. However, I personally don't see anything in her kit that I need on my roster and with a potential 5* soul coming out for Thor after the fusion. I see that as 10x more valuable for a champ I can/will use, than using resources on a champ I may find a niche use for occasionally. Again, personally I do not get a champ for "possible futures" as she could also "possibly" sit in the vault for years and not get buffed. How many leggo's need buffs right now that are legacy champs? What a champ can do for me now is what I look at as fomo is not my bag. I simply don't look at what ifs. I look at what is, or is likely to be following Paylarium's play book. I have only regretted not doing one fusion and that was Emic due to burnout, so I left it, but he would still be used by me if I had him. However, I chose my health over a champ, and that I don't regret. After all, it's only a game :)

Referring to a quick reference for Freya and her solo potential, I honestly don't get it. People always complain about the time RAID requires and on the other hand so many chose to do a cheesy solo strategy of a 2, 3, 4min runs instead of a 1min with a full team. It doesn't make sense other than we complain for no reason.
Solo builds are about roster and resource efficiency, not time efficiency. For instance, if you can run a solo champ through dragon 20, you can add 4 food champs to those runs and get champ training points and chickens basically for "free," since you have to run dragon for a tournament or dungeon divers event anyway. It does take longer, but the increased value per energy is sometimes worth the extra time. Additionally, F2Pers and low-spenders who don't have massive rosters can benefit from strong solo champions who can provide them with solutions to challenges their roster otherwise can't handle - like a solo Bommal champion. I think the complaint about time spent in game is more often directed at the lack of QOL options focused on reducing unnecessary time sinks - like needing to sit through 15 keys worth of DT boss fights every day. Why not have an auto-complete option after the boss is defeated the first time? It would save players a significant amount of time in game each day to do that. I usually break up my pulls for fusion across two days. Yesterday's Sacred pull was Martyr, Rector and Uugo. I also pulled two voids and got two rares. I am hoping for soul stones for the Freyja guaranteed event, as I have a lot more souls than shards

All I will say on my two accounts is that I got Freya from an ancient and a sacred shard…so having is awesome for my non spending account and a paying one is kewl!! I feel you on the luck runout part as well.
I didn't pulled during the x2 void last week, I used up 20 voids and 3 sacreds for summon rush to get the barrel, that's left me with 19 sacreds ready for the Freya event (if it's shards) . No luck with any good champs but that's life 😂

The question is, is it rather worth going for her if you don't expressly need a champion like her or would it be better to actually get Thor's 5* soul? If I go for her I'd basically deplete my shards and wouldn't be able to do the Summon rushes for the soul
That's a really good question. If you can't envision her breaking into your active roster, it may be worth forgoing your chance at Freyja in order to get Thor's 5-star soul. 5-star souls are valuable commodities, especially for F2Pers and low-spenders. So yeah, that's definitely worth considering.

That seemed like more or a possibility to me beforel they did this Asgard Divide event and added all the champs to Barbarians. Now, they'd probably have to remove the Asgard champs from the Barbs to make a Viking faction. That feels unlikely to me at this point. But you never know. I used 5 sacreds and got 5 dupe epics. At least I got to empower my Uugo. Don't care about the Deck of Fate. Didn't have the required amount of shards from the beginning, and since it's anyway impossible to get every character in this game I don't care. With some luck I can fuse Thor today (just need to finish, Classic Arena Takedown, Dungeon Divers, and Ice Golem)

There is pain and disappointment in the F2P life, absolutely. But 3.5 years in RAID as a F2Per has taught me many things - one of which is that you can succeed at any and every aspect of this game without spending money, but it sure ain't easy.
They really need to add champs quicker adding champs with fusions are crap it’s going to take years to get good champs or a quality of champs to do anything against whales like I mean 20 years unless they start making better odds for champs that can do something lol!
I hear you, but I personally feel like the pace we F2Pers get access to "free" champs is pretty good across the life of an account. There is a period in the early mid-game where the pace drops off, and it can feel very painful. Once you push through that stage of your account, though, the pace picks up considerably. It's just a grind to get there. I wish you the patience and stamina to push on through to the other side, Cody! May your account grow quickly and your successes be satisfying! 📈📈📈
Cool! Yeah, check it out and let me know what you find out. Might take some work, though. Gonna be tricky to set up the exact scenario you require. Maybe try a medium-high DT hardmode floor? That way you don't have to waste energy or key or something. Good luck!

Pulled ancients and a few primals to save sacreds for now, got a dupe Nobel so at least its a faction guardian
Just FYI, Nobel is the empowerment champion for Ninja. So if you've got 2 of them, you also have the option of a +2 Ninja.

Yeah, on second reading, I'm not sure if the bloodshield trick will work. Her skill does say "placed by this champion" and I'm not sure bloodshields apply. We'll have to see. Thanks for the comment!

There is pain and disappointment in the F2P life, absolutely. But 3.5 years in RAID as a F2Per has taught me many things - one of which is that you can succeed at any and every aspect of this game without spending money, but it sure ain't easy.

They really need to add champs quicker adding champs with fusions are crap it’s going to take years to get good champs or a quality of champs to do anything against whales like I mean 20 years unless they start making better odds for champs that can do something lol!
I hear you, but I personally feel like the pace we F2Pers get access to "free" champs is pretty good across the life of an account. There is a period in the early mid-game where the pace drops off, and it can feel very painful. Once you push through that stage of your account, though, the pace picks up considerably. It's just a grind to get there. I wish you the patience and stamina to push on through to the other side, Cody! May your account grow quickly and your successes be satisfying! 📈📈📈

Cool! Yeah, check it out and let me know what you find out. Might take some work, though. Gonna be tricky to set up the exact scenario you require. Maybe try a medium-high DT hardmode floor? That way you don't have to waste energy or key or something. Good luck!
