I booked my car into Evan’s Halshaw for its third service and to get any software updates. I received a text from them saying, it needed an extra £900 worth of work and if this wasn’t carried out the car would not pass it’s Mot which was due two days later. I declined the work and when I picked up my car, I produced an Mot certificate which was done the day before. They were in turmoil. In the end they blamed it on a junior mechanic getting the job cards mixed up! F**k O** to all main dealers.
How much does Hella HGS cost, is it a monthly subscription, I do the occasional repair for friends and it’s always difficult to get hold of wiring diagrams. Autodata want £124 a month. I wish there was someone who would just charge like £10 for a specific diagram rather than a monthly fee.
I have a vauxhall astra van 2008 1.7 cdti new alternator and battery the battery light keeps coming on and alternator won't charge battery any ideas I have a auto electrician booked for tomorrow
