Thank You for watching!
Well this might be from 6 years ago, but your video helped me make some card holders today. Thank you.
Great I still use mine
Great project. Wood really like information as you go. Size, depth if cuts, type of wood...etc
Thanks 👍
My family has a big tradition to play cards, but my mom has a problem on her arm and it hurts her to hold the cards together for too long. This is an excellent and practical idea to help her play long games with us and not feel pain. I aprecciate so much your video, thank you for sharing this idea
your welcome
Neat idea Mike, great project.
Thanks Carl, sorry I'm going miss the maritime show.
Cool project, Mike! These would be cool for the game Phase 10 where you have different groups of cards. It's a popular card game around here.
Yup, I played phase 10 last night. Also good for uno, hand and foot. Thanks for watching.
Love the 2 different depths on those slots. I made some of these for my kids years ago from 2x4's but never thought of doing the different heights. I may have to make some new ones.
They work well, in some of them I even put a hole it to hold a pencil. I would love to see a picture of you make some.
Gotta know when to hold em know when to fold em. - every time I see playing cards Kenny Rogers comes to mind. Super cool project!! These will come in handy at our house.
I using them right now, and they do come in handy, if you need to walk away flip it down and it hides your cards. Thanks for watching
Enjoyed the project Mike.
.
Great idea and very timely,
We play a lot of cards on New Years Eve.
Regards,
Bob
Yup, we play cards on new years as well, glad you enjoyed it happy New Years
Great idea for playing cards Mike! (especially as the night goes on and drinks increase)
Very nice Idea
Thanks they work well
Thanks you, YA they get more tossed then dropped as the night goes on
Great project again. Looks like you have the card hand holder. So do you have a creative device to hold the draw and discard piles.
No, I don't but have been thinking about doing something just hasn't landed a design yet that may be an upcoming project. Thanks for watching.
Nice idea. I will add that to my todolist. Will be a bit harder for me with my circle saw screwed to a board tablesaw jig setup, but i will try.
Would love to see pictures, if you end up doing it. Thanks for watching
Have some similar with 3 depths. We play a game called Hand and Foot and you have a lot of cards.
That’s what we play. Can quickly get a lot of cards
Stick-en-tune...love it !
Cool video, thanks for sharing :)
Thanks Mark, you should here some of my bloopers.
Hi Mike,
My name is Lee and I enjoyed playing cards but because of my disability I haven't in several years. I think something like what you created would be perfect for me. Although, I was wondering if you could make a height adjustment to the back row or to the front. So that I can see the number and the suit a little better. If so, how much would you charge for a block?
Yes I can make them for ya. Email me with your address and how many you need. Then I can work out a price. This is a very simple project so most of the cost will be the wood itself. Mfwoodshop@yahoo.com
Loved the waxing, cool video!
Thank you
Tarot community on RUclips needs this. Big money
I agree, simple but very useful. We use our every time we play cards
Nice idea, I sure it comes in handy after a few lol
YA they do. Thanks Sterling, nice job on the pallet challenge I think the whole thing was setup and presented and fair to all.
Hehe, I just did this to hold my scrapper cards! have to make a few more with the angle for playing cards! Thanks mike
That's a good idea with the scrapper cards, but playing cards are more fun and less work. lol thanks for watching
Enjoyed it, Mike.
Thanks Steve
Why aren't you narrating the work and giving a play by play? Giving the audience the type of wood you used, the degree the tablesaw blade was set to, etc..? Thirdly, what dimensions did you use?
I hear you, I don't narrate because I do this for fun. Some video I'll go more in depth. Something like this really don't need explanations. Use what ever wood you want, make it what ever size you want. As far as the degree's that depends on you and what looks good for you. Mine is 12" long 1.5" x 1.5" and set to 13°
