You are absolutely correct. In all fairness We would probably not entertain his behaviour if he was on another team but as a South African we love him , defend him and will protect him. When he is in the midst of trouble We shake our heads like proud parents… don’t want to condone violence but we secretly proud of him for his passion 😂… but He actually does has a big heart … and as a rugby player he is brilliant… there is not a team in the world that would not want him in their team… we love him to pieces❤

Honestly if no one from either team is bleeding after a Springboks game, something went wrong with the Springboks gameplan. I think this vid probably just chose not to include any bleeding stuff tho.

VERY COOL to see Americans enjoying rugby..in sa we ate and slept rugby at school level . It's in our blood... makes me proud Americans enjoy our big game.
Just to add here, we start playing rugby at the age of 6 whilst 6 year olds from other countries play in the sand or play dough. Rugby in South Africa is almost a religion. If you think Springbok supporters are fanatic, you should see highschool 1st team supporters, especially the moms.

In rugby a game between two international sides that represent their country, that game is referred to as a test. That is why it is also referred to as Test Rugby. It is the highest level at which a rugby game can be played.
Another interesting reference is a test cap. The practice has faded now, but players used to be awarded a cap (like one you wear on your head) for each game, so commentators will often say such and such a player has 20 test caps for his country. Rugby-speak! 😁
