Ultrakill's weapons are so well designed that even in a speedrun, home of the Most Efficient Tactics Available, they all have at least a niche use. Hat's off.
20:14 Massive time save: You can skip the skulls in this level by going into this room, turning right immediately, hugging the corner of the room, slamjumping, and continuing to hug the corner. You'll go out of bounds. After this, use your fast movement of choice to go to the outside of where the "3 skull entrance" would be, and go onto the outside area of the pipe that leads there. You'll barely be able to poke a checkpoint thats slightly visible, reset to checkpoint, and skip all skulls.
My absolute favorite part is at 14:40 when you get triple gun. Then 14:52 when you fly a hundred feet in the air then juggle coins, laser guns, and shotguns- come back down abliterating the birth of whatever stood there. It's moments like this where even though it doesn't make any sense you feel like such a badass it doesn't even matter

This dude beat the whole game in the time it took me to beat just Gabriel while on the hardest difficulty I’m done.
Thats how long it took me to beat the first encounter on the recommended difficulty
and the second fase, god in recommended its smally easy but in hardest its the hell
This run took about 2 minutes less than how long it took me to be P-1

Checkpoints are more used here to instantly reload the railgun, since they also have that effect. That, and instant backtracking like in 1-3.
