My mother walked away from my father with 3 kids under the age of 6 when he hit her one night. The next day when he went to work, she took us and left. She didn't have no job or money of her own either. I haven't seen my daddy since. When I asked her years later how she had the courage to do what most women wouldn't, she said she loved her kids and herself too much to give us a life subjected to abuse. Now I don't know your situation, but if my mother could walk away with kids, so can you. There are such things as joint custody, visitation, and child support. I grew up raised by a single Mom because she had the strength and courage to leave my cheating and abusive father. She never even thought about going back either even after he begged for forgiveness. She wasn't trying to hear it. When she met and married my stepfather she told him that if he ever stepped out on her or even tried to put his hands on her the divorce would be swift and immediate. I thought he was going to leave my mother after hearing that, but he manned up and they have been happy for going on 16 years. If women were like my mother, men would be a whole lot different.

Thanks for the video I don't have a father figure in my life and is challenging as a millennial growing up and by default if you dont have an example to follow preps you for failure and leads to many problems as it has for me to be completely honest but im willing to do the work I'm reading good books and learning from failure and it is hard though to do the right thing(which is what i want to do) in a society that wants to pressure you into their mold and the dumb Yolo embrace human depravity culture which isnt worth it long term

I'm currently learning on how to become a woman of honor by studying the Word of God and allowing the Holy Spirit to teach me. Some women are so focused on a man that they don't see the flaws within themselves. Dear Tony, I keep working on myself everyday as much as time is permitting. Sometimes it is just a few minutes ... but I do what is possible to me. My divorce from my grown boy husband has been difficult so far but I believe I've made great strides in growing. And I wish to have made more progress by the time the divorce gets finalized. The days where I can feel the peace, can feel the balance and where I believe that I can see clearly ... There are more and more of them; however, occasionally I still get disturbed by things that happen to me ... Then I try to remember that it is in my control how I react to it and that I can change my perception of it. Thank you for reminding me of it. Becoming a woman doesn't just define yourself as a baby maker, protential wife material, or even a punani carrier I had to learn this to become the woman I am Today.. I didn't start attracting men until I started learning how to speak as a woman without expectations of desires but corresponding to his "order of conduct" which entails a Man only responsing respectable to a woman who knows how to respond to a Man ..a ManBoy wouldn't be able to hide his narcissistic antics. He will always be in plain sight with dysfunctional or negative characteristics which cannot be hidden of your true nature and mental stability. A Man will always show he has control over his emotions, insecurities and even able to spot when it's your insecurities to help you realize he doesn't have to hurt you when you don't know you're Down.
And might I respectfully add Tony to your valuable video... those insecurities of some black males are intertwined with NPD (narcissistic personality disorder). It is a real mental health issue in our black community. Many black men have been through abuse, rejection, abandonment and attachment issues with parents/family that has left them very unempathic due to their deep self-belief that no one was there to save and protect them from what happened. Mentally, they are almost always still in survival mode just as they Had to become as a child going thru the trauma. These types of traumas also create codependency in women who then are mothering these men verses partnering in authentically healthy relationships. Rather they are in transcational associations which is what the guy is really trying to only have. He is trying to only exhaust energy, emotions and empathy from these women; what he didn't get in childhood. Thus, women must understand they are ENOUGH regardless of what he spews to try to devalue and confuse her. Also, when boys grow up without a father figure around, those who they do have in their lives such as their mother or someone, should be SURE they have some kind of godly mentor to teach them; a man perhaps from the church or maybe a relative-someone who they know very well and trust, who would be a great role model in teaching a boy about godly masculinity and being a man of God. This type of mentor lives the godly example as well as verbalizing.

This message goes for women as well, because it shows that growth is needed in all of us when it comes to relationships and the path that God has set out for us in our lives. I'm currently learning on how to become a woman of honor by studying the Word of God and allowing the Holy Spirit to teach me. Some women are so focused on a man that they don't see the flaws within themselves. Build that relationship with Jesus first then when you are ready on HIS time, he'll allow your partner to enter your life. We always want, but we need to learn how to be obedient and follow his WILL. Dear Tony, I keep working on myself everyday as much as time is permitting. Sometimes it is just a few minutes ... but I do what is possible to me. My divorce from my grown boy husband has been difficult so far but I believe I've made great strides in growing. And I wish to have made more progress by the time the divorce gets finalized.
The days where I can feel the peace, can feel the balance and where I believe that I can see clearly ... There are more and more of them; however, occasionally I still get disturbed by things that happen to me ... Then I try to remember that it is in my control how I react to it and that I can change my perception of it.

It is a real mental health issue in our black community. Many black men have been through abuse, rejection, abandonment and attachment issues with parents/family that has left them very unempathic due to their deep self-belief that no one was there to save and protect them from what happened. Mentally, they are almost always still in survival mode just as they Had to become as a child going thru the trauma. These types of traumas also create codependency in women who then are mothering these men verses partnering in authentically healthy relationships. Rather they are in transcational associations which is what the guy is really trying to only have. He is trying to only exhaust energy, emotions and empathy from these women; what he didn't get in childhood. Thus, women must understand they are ENOUGH regardless of what he spews to try to devalue and confuse her. I'm having a problem meeting men of my generation with half of his integrity and wisdom, masculinity. It's amazing and sad. I go and hang out with my pops to get all the love, protection, and care that I need. It's just sad that the men I encounter just don't have it in themselves let alone, to offer to another.

I think your platform is for both believers and nonbelievers (in Jesus) but for those that do not have their value come from Christ, where does it come from?
