@@CommodoreFloopjack78 Ikr the lady wanting to sue for free money when she's caught on video blocking the fuel island lol.
I'm just curious why you don't sell flipflops that says I'm a Bonehead on them. Lol
@@anthonyaubuchon765 Sorry dude didn't you see the shirt that says real truckers don't wear Flip flops?
real truckers dont piss on bottles. and your not aloud to toss bottles of piss in the trash cans eaither. its better to toss then into the main dumpster behind the store. the guy that has to empty those cans dont wana smell your stinking aging piss.
I WAS IN THE MILITARY AND THE ONLY TIME WE COULD WEAR FLIP FLOPS WAS TO AND FROM TAKING A SHOWER. DURING PHYSICAL TRAINING IT WAS GYM SHOES AND WORK OF ANY KIND WAS BOOTS, PERIOD. JUST SAY NO TO FLIP FLOPS ON THE JOB!!!
Has anyone noticed the onslaught of “drivers” (4-wheelers up to 18 wheelers) who do not understand that they should use their low-beams when they are behind another vehicle or when there is a nearby oncoming vehicle? They are usually foreigners.
Yeah I've noticed that increasing here. I really noticed it when I visited south America. They put high beams on the cars but have no laws about dimming them for oncoming traffic. Over half of the drivers I saw in Ecuador drove with high beams everywhere they go, day and night.
Mister Ed, yes you're right. And have you noticed how many people in oncoming traffic won't dim their lights for you?
And don't even get me started on these new headlights that are so bright that they blind you in the daytime!
My theory is they think they're brighter that way.
Second guess, the big smartphone stuck to their face blocks the blue high beam indicator. They're too lazy to put the phone down and reach out and pull the turn signal lever to get low beam. OK your choice, BIG smartphone or quad cheeseburgers in their fist. Either way, they blind us with high beams and their glaring stupidity.
Theres alot in california they just dont care till it happens to them
Also,What is it with tractors with the old school double rectangular lights driving with the high beams on in the daytime?
All these GPS fails are kinda funny, I used to find it hard to believe that people were dumb enough to try and take a semi down some of these tiny roads but you have proven me wrong! Bet the old school guys that have and use an up to date Atlas don't run into these issues.
im not an old trucker i been driving for 10 years but thank God the person who teach me how to drive teach how toread a map even in a phone put satellite mode and u can see the street
@@abrahamcantu7697 map books are definitely coming back into more frequent use by new drivers, I repair semi trucks and I see map books laying on the dash or in the door pocket all the time obviously being used.
Yes we do. I pull a step deck, so go to a lot of job sights and off the wall places to pick up or deliver. There has been several times the GPS puts me on a route that I questioned and called the customer and they said it was a good route. Turn down a gravel road that becomes one lane and curvy. Not fun. Get to the customer to deliver or load a piece of equipment and it designed for a one ton with a gooseneck. I'm 80' long so needless to say I have torn up a few yards getting turned around. Luckily I never got stuck or torn anything up on the truck (knock on wood)
Nothing to do with the GPS. People are just dumb. As kids I bet they tried for hours, to fit the square into the circle 🕳.
There's a poor lady in UK 🇬🇧 that has been having her house hit every week or so because guys are following GPS down her narrow European street. The city finally put signs up " no trucks" but can they read? Nope, still hit her house, but maybe once a month now
Man the industry is a mess and shame on it.
Who else can they hire and who else will do it? Nobody
there aint no enough drivers that work the wheel like how they should

Every industry in America is a shame.

@@oldmansilas559 first of all it’s a unwritten rule and second that’s not the rule. The rule is DONT BLOCK THE PUMP which she is not doing.
She is now blocking the person at the pump from leaving and that is no better than blocking the pump. She is also now blocking anyone behind the truck at the pump. That is her fault. She is blocking the pump.
@@Becca_Fuchs that’s not the rule. The rule is PULL UP before going into the store. Not my fault u only needed 200.00 worth fuel
The lady did nothing wrong. She pulled up to let the next driver fuel. Unless she took 30min (which I highly doubt), she did nothing wrong…
Exactly what I was thinking! Otherwise wide would they need the pull forward spot! Looks like someone wanted some camera time!
I totally agree unless she was in there for a long time. I figure you get a good 15 minutes once you pulled up.
@Ceejay how am I supposed to know that? And how do you know that?
@Ceejay what the hell did they make the pull forward spots then.
@Ceejay Didn’t feel like responding cause I don’t feed into what trolls like you say, but here’s what I have to say: You don’t know how long she took, unless you were there. As an example, I’ve been able to quickly use the restroom, get coffee, and something to eat in less than 5min. By the time I’m returning to my truck, the driver behind me is either a) barely beginning to fuel up or b) in the middle of fueling up and aren’t in a rush to get out of there. Now, if this lady took longer than 15min, then, yes, that’s blocking the fuel island. But based off what we saw in the video, you or me don’t know how long she took to use the restroom and get her McDonald’s, so the argument you’re trying to prove is invalid.
Flip flops and PJ's.
That serious wardrobe combination, sported by only the highest class of individuals in the "Haute Couture" Walmart society.
Amen we used to have to worry about 4 wheelers now the big trucks are more dangerous ever since they went to automatics they will put ANYBODY in a truck
I worked with truck drivers who were dropping off or picking up and the scary part was some of them did not speak English (they were not Hispanic). They would hand me their phone so that I could talk to their boss to check their driver in. I wonder who in the Hell gave them a
license and how did they read the signs.

A lot of yard drivers just let the trailer slam onto the ground. Walmart DC yard drivers are usually regular warehouse employees
O wow. I believe I can apply for that position that would b easy to do
Now this is making sense. There are comments on here saying that it is fine to pull up and then go inside to order food. Many times I have to wait another fifteen minutes or more because of this even when there are plenty of available parking spots. I always park to go inside to get anything other than a receipt. If parking is full, then I leave. That hardly happens though because part of my trip planning is to not block others in.
Now, this guy leaves pee bottles.
@@DepletedWisdom I see that you actually think because yes. I did not mention about urinating while getting a receipt. Good job. You actually thought about my comment. chaining the wheels together is easier🤣🤣🤣
Wow that trucker that had the tanker, I'm sure someone had to pull his pin from the 5th wheel and/or he didn't do the tug test to make sure. That's a lot of fuel that has to get cleaned up.
Not necessarily. I had a dozen tankers back in the 80s. We had one holland fifth wheel that dropped its trailer twice. Once empty and once loaded. The time loaded, what spilled you could wipe up with a rag. We never could find out why. When tested it always held tight. We just replaced it and moved on.
That’s not that much fuel, one match will clean that up
@@rompinroger9614 sounds like a real hot idea there. Then you can make that tanker a very hot load.
Some fifth wheel plates allow you to insert a pin so the handle won't work loose or be pulled out.
@@virginiaray2169 my father in law is a truck driver instructor and he did show me where that pin is as you mentioned. He stated to make sure you check it at all times when entering and leaving the truck.

After you fuel your truck and pull up, getting something from the C-store doesn't qualify as boneheadedness. Accusing that gal of being a bonehead does qualify. WTF do you want?
A guy fuelled in Lancaster, Ontario and pulled up. Guy behind pulled in and a guy was after him. Bonehead in the first truck went and took a shower! Was gone for 30 minutes, I thought the guy stuck at the pumps was going to punch his lights out. The thing is, there was loads of parking places open. Fuel, move up but be able to clear in a few minutes. In that woman's defence, we don't know how long she was gone, maybe not long enough to be a bonehead.
@@BigLisaFan - that's what that pull up spot is for. Going into the store after fueling. Certainly not for shower parking.
Ah, so that is why people tell me about pilot etiquette... because they have pullup spot. In seriousness, designing to allow blocking someone else seems like a bad setup for this kind of situation; If she takes too long, bam.. who is wrong?
@@Terribads it's a traffic flow courtesy from days of yore when EVERYONE had to go inside to pay cash for fuel (or go get their change from cash deposit) and then pee and refill the coffee thermos and GO. The evolution of authorization at the pump, paying with a fuel card at the pump, etc has changed that dynamic some, but not much. Many people still need to go inside to get a receipt. The procedure holds, though: pull up, you got 5, 10 maybe 15 minutes and it all works for everyone.

I agree if it's during the day and plenty of spots, park real quick, grab your grub, and then either eat there or head on out. Of course for us night drivers that want to get something to munch on, it's either the luck of finding some super chill truckstop where there's clearly no "Fuel island party" going on. Or fuel up, pull forward, and hope there isn't a line. If there's a line, either face the wrath of some "accuser" outside and prepare to fight. Or just abandon all your grub and either hit the next place down the road, or make whatever sugar is inside you last.
