📚: Secondly, We, as a people, will always struggle until we get the Colored People out of our scene. Colored People are Black yet don't represent what Black Folk are about. I won't judge you too hard because you already said that the 'edgy white guy' subgenre of standup comedy as a whole just isn't to your taste, (which is completely valid) but to imply that Anthony Jeselnik, and to a lesser extent Daniel Tosh, are at all comparable to Andrew Schulz or Bill fucking Maher in terms of quality feels actually ridiculous to me. Like, sure there is enough similarity to be able to group them all into a single, vibes-based category, but the disparity of actual humor and apparent skill for writing jokes found in their respective bodies of work is beyond staggering.
Sandwiching Jeselnik between Maher, Schulz, and Rife in your script is kinda like having a talk about dramatic actors and bringing up Mark Wahlberg and Jared Leto right next to Meryl Streep and Denzel Washington; as if there wasn't a world of difference between the legitimacy of their careers.

It's not about the quality of them individually, but what their schtick is
