Nice review. By any chance, would you know of another type of unit that would switch between turntables and a CD player and a cassette deck would love to mix and match along with my two receivers and two sets of speakers.
I have a question in the vu2. In the advertising where it shows possible component hookup scenarios it always says "active speakers". It won't work with passive speakers?
I have one unanswered question about these units. Do they only switch the positive red wires and not the black ones? If so, i wonder if this can cause some problems with certain types of amplifiers?
these are not as useful as you carry on about; you still have to switch the source input into the amp and there is no way to connect an active sub-woofer
One little bear is a brand name not nick name ...lots of douk audio products are in calibration with little bear... The problem with these is it's another thing in the signal path .

You mention it will blow an amp like NAD but don't mention why. It seems like that would be an important detail you would want to elaborate on.

Thank you for your kind comment!
It's JUST a switch........it doesn't have any noticeable interference, I have used them for years with a Harman Kardon PM665 VXI and Rega Elex-R.
