Teddy looks so much like his brothers
@gumshoesoul Very handsome IMO. Better looking than the actor that portrayed him in Chappaquiddick.
Hes a sinner like his brothers.
@@dalialule6324 we all are sinners
I agree
Family can't hide
It's interesting 'cos it gives you a good idea what the eldest three would have looked like if they had made it to old age
This man drove his car off a bridge with a passenger and did not make an attempt to save her, he then lied about it in a coverup scandal. This man was a dirt bag to say the least.
RIP Mary Jo Kopechne, 26th July 1940 - 18th July 1969.
Religion indeed played a large role in his life, particularly the later years. He was a daily communicant in those last years and during his final illness exchanged letters with the Pope. He had much to atone for and he made his best effort at doing so.
God doesnt exist...... But the one downstairs does. He rules the world now, not god. Dont fool youre self.
@@dalialule6324 YOU are fooling yourself. If you and I and the devil exist, God most certainly does
@@dalialule6324 I dont like that at all.
@@robfmas Atheist here: neither do I. Half-assed disbelief in the Hebrew Deity is just stupid. Deny the existence of both or do us a favour and STFU.
He wrote the Pope but the Pope got an underling to write him back.
Always in a suit. Always talking about his family. Always talking about himself. Always structured. Never really knew the person, the person that made a terrible mistake that killed a lady.
As I saw it not only was his own childhood important. His role as a father figure to Jack's; Bobby's and even Pat (Lawford)'s children as well as his own three (not forgetting his two step-children). So yes its clear that family was very significant to him.
Rest In Peace. May God be with you.
R.I.P., ted
I heard jean died recently
Rest in peace to her as well
Ted has done more for this country and it’s people than any of us combined will in our lifetimes. He changed the world.
He also comitted involuntary manslaughter drunk diving but no big deal right? Fuck outta here, Ted is a complete coward
@@daveeast4272 Congratulations man, you are the dumbest man in history.
And not for the better..
As of 2020: Kennedys left the chat
John Fitzgerald Kennedy: last online 57 Years ago
Robert Kennedy: last online 52 years ago
Ted Kennedy: last online 11 years ago

John Fitzgerald Kennedy Jr: last online 21 years ago
@@alboss52 thank god we still have Ethel and Robert F Kennedy Jr with us. 🙏

Was the last kid of Joseph and rose left alive
Stop being a fucking asshole
@@instapizzabmx4206 RFK JR is an existential stain on the Kennedy name. Whirey Bulger would love the guy.
Good speaker
Interesting, he seems to speak so candidly
Don't defend your parents Ted. They destroyed rosemary.
They sure did!!
@@dalialule6324 IT was Joe who had her lobotomized. Not Rose.
@@m.e.d.7997 Though rose is still bad, not as bad as joe for that disgusting act,
Rosemary Kennedy was awesome! 🥲
what a terrible thing to say, back in those days the medical community thought that lobotomy would help control mental illness and provide a better quality of life. What parent would not give their consent based on what was presented to them? Like many today, they made the decision based on the recommendations of the physicians.
Every generation of the Kennedy family, up to and including Teddy, was VERY famous and respected. Now Teddy has passed do people think the Kennedy family will become less iconic and less famous than they were? Having been America's most known and respected family for so many years it seems they will become less iconic now. What are people's views?
This family is cursed
No matter how long they live
@@cheneethompson5756 I have heard people talk about 'the Kennedy curse' before - many of them died before their time. I do wonder if current and future generations of the family will be as famous as previous generations though.
@@jeffoliver7491 recently, rfk's granddaughter died of a drug overdose
She was 22 years old
@@cheneethompson5756 That is sad to hear but that was self-inflicted, many Kennedy's have died through factors beyond their control - murder, plane crash, and so on.
If, as a family, they can purge themselves of the existential stain that is RFK Jr., a DINO conspiratorista and a total embarrassment to his or any family, they'll come out all right. The man looks like a soldier in the Winter Hill Gang, talks like he's always offended by something, and is a committed anti-vaxxer. A waste of humanity from any point of view.
The strengh of a family lies in its capacity to love and to learn to love
The sisters were so underrated, so great
RIP man, Ill never forgive, but i’ll pray for you a safe entry into heaven.
The jerk who left Mary Jo unreported in that car.
The Lion of the Senate
As a conservative leaning person, I remember when he was the liberal Boogeyman and couldn't wait until he was out of office....my oh my, what I would give to have him leading the current Democratic Party again
I think you should worry more about who is heading the Republican party instead.
Their father made Rosemary unable to speak or walk to silence her because she was born on Friday the 13th.
Religion was so important that he voted in favor of Abortion his entire life. What religion was that?
Just because he’s religious doesn’t mean he’s against women having the right to choose what they wanna do with their OWN body.
Of course he voted for it.. if he didn't his family would be responsible for fathering enough kid's to double the population of Massachusetts..
That was his business, not yours
*Irish-American Catholic.*
You know you're in a town that has, or used to have, a lot of Irish by one metric: there are still more bars than churches.
This is particularly true in my home state of Massachusetts.
A great Senator for the state of Massachusetts
Great ? No... typical? Absolutely
Compared to Kerry, Markey, and Warren he’s great. Compared to dog crap he’s dog crap.
Also his swimming coach and his drivers ed teacher
I wish I had the opportunity to meet this man..
Well if by any chance you're heading to hell you just might get the chance
Why? You admire the 1965 immigration act he helped get passed, civil rights act which killed freedom of association, radical criminal justice reform, massive welfare expansion? You like all that stuff?
If it wasn't for the incident at Chappaquiddick he could have gone farther in politics maybe could have been president
Thank God, he didn't!
Thank God for small favors
President edward kennedy what would have been love to have seen it. In 1972 rip great & honorable man
I'm not sure how much truth there is in that statement. I really don't believe he had the ambition to be President. In an interview he did in 1980 he literally fumbled around to find one plausible answer as to why he wanted to be President. And nobody should be President who doesn't truly covet the position. After seeing both his brothers literally die for the office I can almost understand why in Ted's defense.
Sen edward kennedy great man would have made president
Little known fact: just prior to expiring, was knighted Sir Osis of Liver.
Biffalo Bull little known fact he killed a woman

July 18, 2019: Remembering you on this day Ted, 50 years ago today when you drunk-drove a car off a bridge at Chappaquiddick and killed Mary Jo Kopechne and then waited 10 hours to sober up before calling the police. You should never say anthing about the dead unless it's good. He's dead. Good.
Joey Jamison , all the mistakes of Sen Kennedy esp.on Mary Jo’s death, that’s between him and our Creator. we have the right to express our anger but I hope we can also be less hateful when we express it.
@@susannahdellosa2739 Sorry if you don't like my opinion of him, you may be intimidated by him and his dark shadow, but I'm not! He was an immoral, irresponsible philanderer, in other words, a typical Kennedy!
"Cynicism is an unpleasant way of saying the truth."
-Lillian Hellman
@@joeyjamison5772 That’s not criticism, like, at all. That’s saying that you are GLAD he’s dead, as if he’s hitler or some shit.
@@sjehshhd59 frrr tho
If it were as simple as just "sobering up," then we could admonish him for his incapacity. However, phone records from the hotel room where he was staying that night indicated that he made 17 phone calls to friends, family members and associates BEFORE he called to report the accident at all. They had already discovered the car in the water by the time he called the authorities. He was trying to find a way out of being accountable.
Is Elizabeth Warren better than Ted Kennedy?
At what being a fake Indian ?
About the same, really. Not much sunlight between the two.
What a coward he is
Bingo
RIP.
To sail against the wind.
There once was a Senator from Mass Who wanted a strange piece of ass.
He lucked up and found it But screwed up and drowned it And now his future is past.

his father treated his mother like a 2nd rate citizen who he cheated on their whole marriage, his father butchered his sister & hid her away from the rest of the family (they sure had the money to have her at home) he cared more about money & power than anything else, he made most of his money from breaking the law selling booze & not paying taxes on it, he paid the help ( almost all black people) pennies on the dollar with no benefits. and he was a stuck-up ass-hole who looked down on everyone. great father figure ted! u speak highly of him because he set u & ur brothers/sisters up for life!
