that's honestly what they try and do, for the most part we(USA) show off a couple of cute maneuvers and always have the safety of the plane and show crowd in mind. The Russians tend to push the aircraft to the raggedy edge, and have on more then one occasion pushed it too far.
Yeah I was about to say..with Russia, people die at they're airshows because they are way to risky with their planes..they havent exactly learned from they're mistakes like we have..
Though I will always love and miss the F-14, the F-18 Super is growing on me quite alot. If they would have updated it with thrust vectoring, it would be a maneuvering monster.
I wish I could remember where I heard this, but I once heard someone say "Only fairies flair." Made me laugh, but of course I have tons of respect for anyone who chooses to serve this country, regardless of what branch they choose to do it in.
your camera has a really good mic on it, i watched the same performance on airshowfans and your camera really picks up the roar and noise of the jet, not to mention your HD quality is good as well.
Watching Russian Su-27 and Mig-29 teams are much more exciting to watch in air shows than their American counterpart air shows. I've seen MiG's blast through the air at ~100ft AGL then pull into ACM seconds later. Just my opinion.
I am really impressed with how well the Super Hornet maneuvers.
