- Neca have made some outstanding Action Figures in their time.
In fact they are considered one of the BEST within the Modern Toy Industry.
But have you ever wondered what their BEST action figure line was?

Fabulous display! I remember watching the movie as a kid, totally fascinated. 👍🏻 😃
It all still really holds up today. I think mostly due to the prosthetic makeup.
I'm debating whether my kids are old enough to watch it yet 🤔❤

I absolutely love the whole POTA franchise, don't have any of the Neca figures sadly but do have most of the Medicom figures. The diorama is outstanding.
The medicom figures are really good. As you can see I worked afew into this display 😉

Great set up love POTA I remember being to young too see the originals in the cinema I’m sure they were really high age rated? Loved the TV show…I had the 1974 Mego Cornelius 8” figure gone now 😢
I did manage to pick up Cornelius Retro Classic Diamond Select Toys replica just as good!!

Great clip and collection but you did get something wrong. You called the NECA General Ursus General Urko. The NECA figure you showed is General Ursus from Beneath the Planet of the Apes not General Urko from the TV series. Urko only came out in the Medicom range. I have full sets of both.

Enjoyed the vid! Nice collection! You can make a Battle Caeser with his Conquest head on a Cornelius body. You might like to display that with Aldo.

Suggestion here... I got duplicates of Neca's Ripley in the space suit from the finale of Alien. If you remove her head, you can swap it with heads from this line to try and recreate the opening of "EscapeFromPOTA". I've only done this with a spare Zaius as a test, but it works. Its a safe bet you could do the same with Cornelius, Zira, etc.

The Planet of the Apes figures are certainly the best in the Neca line in my opinion.
I have bought quite a lot of the Gorilla soldiers, some have been customised really well to make them a little different from each other to create an impressive ape army.

...yet NECA never made any of the astrounauts! Their re-releasing all the apes again for some reason.
@@Rob-z7k They did make Taylor in a larger "Original Mezco" like scale with fabric clothes. But yes, I'd love to of had all the characters 😭
