What made this and the teams in the next 2 yrs the greatest/most entertaining CFB team(s) EVER, is the fact all the facets of a football team were a real threat to score a TD. Offense, Defense and ST.
Miami's only problem in the early 2000s was primarily sleep walking early in some games at times. 2000 Washington, 2001 Boston College, 2002 Ohio State, 2003 Florida, 2003 Virginia Tech, 2003 Tennessee, 2005 Florida State.
Exactly. Complacency kills. That’s why you need the Saban’s and the Belichick’s to make sure no opponent is overlooked and every week is high intensity
I remember WRIII flashing on the scoreboard just after the missed FG. I was there upper deck endzone. Also, James Jackson (RB) earned every inch against that FSU defense.
I don’t know why, BUT I love this 2000 team more than even the national championship 2001 team. Maybe it was Al Blades, dudes like Reggie Wayne and Santana Moss. Maybe it was because they put the program back on the Match. The FSU-UM 27-24 Wide Right III made me run out into the streets and Party!!
