Hey Sir... I am also a student from IIT Roorkee and currently a part of the same club you were in. Would really love to connect with you via Instagram or any other medium.
I also took coaching from Lakshya Chandigarh in 2017 and 2018. After producing AIR-1 IN JEE Adv. in 2017, the real founders left to make Vedantu and I being an average student from a small town was put into the lower batch with some average faculties along with one inspiring IITian faculty (Mohit Ryan). I remained on its part but scored below average. But it really sucked when in 12th when our faculty was changed multiple times, I burnt out thereby I started becoming inconsistent, and eventually, when I came home for my boards I lost my interest thereby messing up my boards and JEE. How is our JEE concepts and preparation useful in computer engineering? Can we start programming before engineering, if yes will the journey go smoothly? And then what is use of preparing for JEE(except getting admission in IIT, NITs)if we start programming before engineering ? Please clarify sir.
I am pretty sure you need to study Maths in CSE. But if you can code from beforehand, I think you can get a job without an engineering degree. The sole reason for JEE is to only let the best students get in IITs
I guess preparing for jee is worth it. It develops your IQ and problem solving skills which you very much need in computer science or any other field. I see here doing my engineering from IITD , there's a reason why only top ranks are allowed.
