Great job with these videos. Please put more footage of you using the tools if you can. That will help us viewers more. Also can you cut it side to side with this tool instead of plunging it straight for the cut?
Hey! Thanks for watching! I will definitely show more footage of using the tools. I thought about it later, and it would be helpful. As far as cutting side to side with this tool, not so much. The teeth are on the tip which cut with a side to side motion. If you try to use the side of the blade, it will be pounding the material instead of slicing. You CAN get away with using the side of the tool on very soft materials such as drywall.
Just got the same one yesterday. Was in a pinch, had to cut a receptacle in and found a horizontal 2x4 in the way. Got it done with the blade provided. Could you make another video on how to use it, set the tools in, and sander attachments. I believe you'll get more views and likes. Good vid though.
I can think of hundreds of times this tool would have saved me so much time and effort. I’m 60 and thought do I really need it. Then I find myself finishing another basement with a full kitchen and a 3 car garage after that and I said yes I want it.
Ok, so it cuts…. What about scrapes? I have wooden steps going into my garage from the house, they were covered with foam backed carpeting that was glued down. When I went to pull it all up, in many places where the glue was thick it left a big mess of glue and foam carpet backing. Will the multi tool with a certain attachment allow me to scrape this away? Thanks!
They actually do have a scraper attachment. I've never used it. Let me know how it goes. It should work, as the oscillating action will warm up the glue.
My favorite tool
It does everything and everyone should have one!
Agreed!
