In 2021 they will change the rules so the tires will get slimmer not in wide ness but how thick it is and also change the reeves so the engine can go all the way up to 21 R.P.M. Right now it’s limit is 18 R.P.M.

Brilliant lap Max also that track is really good they've worked really hard on it it and it's got really nice banking on some corners.

(Yes I’m late 😂), I thought exactly that, they definitely like to glide a lot more than brake. Me on F1 2020 I’m absolutely slamming brakes 😂😂
@@geezuz8557 You cant really "glide" in an F1 car, that stalls the engine I believe. You either have to be on the throttle to some degree or on the brake, no in-between. So instead of gliding they just throttle down, you've got the right idea though!

Sadley Zandvoort would not make it to the Calender. The cost would be to high to renovate the track and to improve the facility's. Further more there a to litle stands around the track, and everyone how has ever been to the track would now. The infrastructure sucks !!!, it's very very bad. Spa is bad bud Zandvoort, damm.
There trying to get the Dutch GP to Assen or building a new track around Almere.
But you may never now. The owners are Prince Bernard van Oranje jr. And he is a big fan of F1 and dedicated to bring F1 back to the track.
I'd say building an entirely new track in Flevoland seems to be me like the most viable option. TT Assen is designed for bikes. so like Zandvoort it would need to be adapted to manage current generation of F1 cars. If you are going to spend money for F1.. might aswell go for an entirely new F1 designed circuit.

Zandvoort is on the 2020 calender. The circuit organizers are going OR are in the process of possibly widening and extending the long straight. Otherwise it will be another procession race....like Monaco, Singapore. The grandstands will be an OCEAN of orange fans.
TheLightning03 The first corner is the Tarzancorner, this one probably has the most overtaking capability. It's wide and the cars will carry a lot of speed coming out of the straight.
If you have a high exit-speed from turn 1 then you can squeeze in a gap through turn 2, making opponents go wide on the tight turn 3. Then be as fast as possible in turns 4 - 7.
Now there's turn 8 and 9 to worry about. These turns are very tight and it seems like it's very hard to pass here. Although I personally think it's possible to go wide before T8 and cut off to the inside and go into T9 from the far right again cutting to the inside, making sure you have the highest exit speed possible. (This straight bit is probably going to be a DRS zone too).
Turns 10 I don't have to say too much about other than just trying to get a high exit speed.
Turn 11 and 12 are important to take quick because these corners will affect the top speed you'll hit on the straight.
IMHO, there are enough overtaking possibilities on this track. The only thing is that to overtake, the drivers will have to drive quite reckless and that is something that probably won't happen.

Should Zandvoort organize F1 race in 2020, Romain dies in the first lap in the 3rd turn the very latest. Track is too narrow, too bumpy and it has too many slow turns. Looks like off-road F1 in Monaco to me :D

How great would it be to see F1 back at Zandvoort in 2020 ! This onboard shows once again that this track definitely needs to be back on the F1 calendar. It looks like they are looking into the possibilities to have a Dutch GP in Zandvoort in 2020. But it needs the political support, and a lot of money to update the track, infrastructure and the facilities.
Heineken should look how the Austrian GP got it's race back, and turn this track into Heineken Circuitpark Zandvoort !

+Dr Trayaurus Never say never. Yes it will be a huge job, but look at the former A1 Ring and Autodromo Hermanos Rodrigues... they were at least as outdated as Zandvoort, and they got their GP back. With money... everything is possible.
+Sander Scheffer I really hope you're right and they bring F1 back to Zandvoort. They do have to build a new building for the pits since the one they have now is way to small, in order to do that they have to completely change the final turn, which is the best turn on the track and there isn't any room for graveltraps

And there are many more things to do before Zandvoort could get a Grade 1 status. But if the ambition, political will and money is there, it will be a big job, but not impossible. As long as Tilke won't touch the track, i'm okay with him designing the pitboxes, grandstands etc. Zandvoort should extend the track a bit as like in their proposed late 80ies lay out plan. Maybe move the pitlane and start-finish to the other long straight...
