He ruined his career but made a comeback and resurgence in Dallas. We are right now seeing a different Kyrie Irving who is level-headed, mature, and is at peace mentally without stirring up unnecessary drama or controversy. Neymar was better than Kyrie in his sport tbh, like Ballon dor standing wise. But Kyrie atleast has the most skillful player of all time title by most nba players, fans, trainers and that will stay for a looooong time. And Neymar is already washed Kyrie still in his prime by far

i wish bron was more communicative with kyrie that it was a batman & superman duo, not a batman & robin duo. kyrie was young, i don’t think he “ruined” his career. the media narratives are powerful on an impressionable young mind. bron shoulda been the one to really reign kai in & make sure he knew how important his role was. kai always looked up to kobe but kobe rattled off 3 rings with shaq before looking to go off on his own, even through the rocky relationship.
Kyries a grown man we can’t blame lebron for everything 😂😂it also absolutely was not a Superman and Batman type of thing but Kyrie was great though. He’s just a better sidekick snd that’s not a bad thing he’s just too inconsistent to be number 1 or 1a
As a Celtics fan that watches just about every game, Ky was one of the most frustrating players I ever watched. He was the most talented player on the team, but the team played worse when he was on the court. And it wasn't for a lack of effort.

I found valid reason to criticize Kyrie his whole career because his talent was only outweighed by his endless bull$h!t. I couldn’t understand how people defended him. Particularly after the wake of destruction he left with Brooklyn. But that being said, I think he really redeemed himself as a teammate last year and if he keeps up that energy, I see another title in his future.
You only care about his bullshit because the media told you to care. Nothing Kyrie has done is bad. It's him being an adult living his life how he wants to meanwhile being one the most popular players in the league amounts fans and players. He continuously helps people in need. If you criticize him or think anything related to him is bullshit, you need to look in the mirror and stop being brainwashed by media propaganda and thinking you're so perfect human to cast judgment on someone as kind and helpful as Kyrie.
@@terrence8483 on the Brooklyn nets, he was a cancerous tumour of a teammate. He fired the coach, undermined the next coach, took personal time away from the team for palpably no reason other than to hang out with friends, claimed the team had to be improved after missing the whole year due to vaccine mandates. He tried to shut down the bubble in 2020 over social justice, made a bad tweet that ALL he had to do was say “my bad” for but instead decided to try and argue with the media. That’s all just what pops into my mind at the moment. I’d argue the opposite. That alternative forms of media told YOU to ignore the gigantic apocalypse Kyrie was leaving everywhere around him, that he refused to even acknowledge any responsibility for. Yes it’s ridiculous that he wasn’t allowed to play over vaccines, but we can’t sit here and pretend he hadn’t looked for every reason not to play multiple times before. He’s better now, and I commend that. Don’t lie to yourself about the player he was.
@@gahaylongplays7033 I agree. Doesn’t change the fact he wasn’t. And some guys from his Boston days made a few comments. Anybody who defends Kyrie is far more predictable than Stephen A or anyone else who criticized him. When he didn’t get vaccinated, I’m sure all his diehards believed he was being the voice of the voiceless. At the end of 2021 when he said the Nets weren’t good enough and they needed to build around the pillars of himself and KD, I’m sure his fans justified that as well. It’s funny because his diehard followers insist everyone else is brainwashed by media even though it’s pretty obvious who the most brainwashed crowd is. Even here, I sing his praises in my comment but ya’ll quick to jump all over the truth of his past like you need to defend his endless drama. None of which he EVER took any responsibility for. The Celtics only won when they changed their coach, GM, and 90% of their roster in the 4 seasons after Kyrie left. While also getting one of the easiest paths to the Finals in the last 25 years of the NBA that ranks next to the Lakers bubble ring.

That's how it is for most celebrating. Kyrie is one of the most popular players in the league among players and fans. Check the allstar voting for fans over the last 10 years. He's always top 1-4 in any conference.
Amazing video my G and I’ll use this example as it pertains to Kyrie’s NBA career as a whole: If you had money as a kid growing up and your parents gave you everything you needed in life while at the same time never had to work for anything in your life so all you grew up with things being handed to you at a moments notice, compare that to a life where your parents didn’t have much but you were grateful for the opportunity to work hard for yourself and the people around you. Who would live a more disciplined and better lifestyle and at the same time would either of those lifestyles be better or worse depending on which one you chose? Maturity is not a linear path and it never has been so arguing that Kyrie didn’t have an ego growing up in the 2016 finals at 24 years old (which I’m 24 years old now) is very disingenuous if you think about it
Honestly, this is only my second video watched by you.. the first, the entire history of LeBron. Just off these 2 videos alone, I can tell you make great content. As soon as you paused the video, and showed that NINETY SEVEN PERCENT of viewers aren't subbed!? I had to stop and drop a sub, which I don't usually do 😂. You deserve it bro, keep grinding. 🙏🏽
You don't need to define his career as good or bad. That's his career, as long as he's happy with his decision. He has not regretted his decision and he is living a peaceful life now. Disgusting title.
Perspective is everything. He, as a man never compromised on his values and beliefs and generated generational wealth in a game he loves playing while also creating an iconic character in Uncle Drew. How can he ever be mad/upset with that? But that last clip is telling because Kyrie himself understands had he worked it out in Cleveland, he for sure thinks he would have had more success in his career. I.E. the title. It's not a knock but Kyrie would have had more opportunities at championships with Lebron than with him trying to be the man. His maturity now helps him see that. With modern medicine it's hard to say his prime is over but like we saw with A.I the dribble moves slow down and the game becomes more fundamental as players age. He has the game to last, but to be who he once was... Don't see it.
Kyrie’s biggest mistake was forcing a trade from Brooklyn to Dallas. There were definitely off court issues but Brooklyn were absolute force on court early in 22-23 season. They had 18-2 run from Nov 22 to Jan 23. East was wide open to take. I think if Kyrie stays, KD, and Kyrie would have made 2023 finals. I ain’t saying they would have won vs Nuggets but they could’ve definitely given a much tougher fight than Miami Heat

Forces his way from Boston to Brooklyn next to 2 MVPs and lost. Forces his way out of Brooklyn and to Dallas. Now he found a little success next to Luka which is the closest to Lebron as you can get. Boston was better when kyrie was on the floor than off of it his whole tenure there, so your lying. They had a better record with him than without him in 2018. In 2018 off the court the Celtics were a +2.1 and when he was on the court they were a +5.3 and this is the season they won 16 games in a row with him and he was 2nd on the mvp ladder in November with guys out the lineup and they literally got to 50+ wins with him. He averaged 24/4/5 on 49/41/89 splits on +5.4 true shooting. The next year even They won 49 games as the 4th seed even with a lot turmoil and they got to the second round. Once again they were a +2.8 when he was off the court and a +6.1 when he was on. He averaged 24/5/7 on 49/40/87 splits on +3.2 true shooting making second team all nba. Your also being disingenuous on purpose with his Brooklyn stint. The only reason they didn’t win in Brooklyn was because giannis zaza pachuliaed him in game 4 of the semifinals and harden injured his hamstring in game 1. And he played good basketball in the playoffs his whole time there. He literally averaged 27 on 50/40/92 that season deservedly made 3rd team all nba. They were number 1 on offense that season and literally had an historic offense when they played together. And yes he underperformed in the finals in 3 road games but he still had a good playoff run and literally had the second most total points behind luka. None of the stars in the finals from both teams had good scoring series statistically and objectively.
Why do you think it went tumultuous ? In whose eyes ? Yours ? The medias ? The last i checked the best players in the nba go out of their way to tell you how great Kyrie is every chance they get. He's a legend. People will be saying Kyrie was the best ever at multiple basketball skills decades from when he's done. Last i checked , he's one of the most popular players in the league. Always has been. That's why the media is obsessed with him and why they can brainwash simple minded people with negative propaganda. He's still making 100s of millions of dollars. His career is his career. Greater than most. No self inflicting wounds. He's just a black man living his life and the media disagrees with some of it. So they brainwash people like you judge his own career and personal decisions for how he wants to live his life while not hurting anyone or committing any crimes. And helping people in need. But again , negative propaganda gets the simple minded folks.
@@terrence8483 bruh Kyrie has one chip with arguably the best player in history if you wanna argue purely legacy. And he sucked in the finals this year. That’s the point, he shot himself in the Femur, not even the foot when he demanded to be traded from the cavs, and then all the immaturity and lack of self awareness with Boston, and the stupid stunts with the nets to now the Mavs with a mediocre finals performance. Talk about propaganda, Kyrie legit hasn’t done anything meaningful since his ring with Bron. I hope he realizes how bad he screwed his luck by disrespecting lucky. I'm not a Boston fan but Kyrie was doing way too much
Serious question, how did bro never got a mvp vote in 2017? Like I know he played with Bron but avr 27 as the 2nd option in the best team in the East should be enough
This is really sad in term of potential but kyrie still living that life so. As a bron fan i was rooting for his harden kyrie kd tenture knowing what his inner struggle were between winning and self acceptance. Not everyone can be a1. I hope kyrie can win another chip or two why not beside the inner struggle he still a great and hard working player.
It sounds good, but realistically he didn't ruin his career. LeBron tried to trade him for Chris Paul first, so he got out ahead of it first. It was Irving's failure to integrate himself into Boston that shot his career in the foot, then his actions in Brooklyn that got him in the rest of his body. Yes, he is better than Dallas now, but his deficiencies are now more pronounced and he can't hide them anymore
The Cavs should have had a shot at beating the KD-teinforced Warriors in 2017. The Warriors almost surely would have won, but Kyrie made their work easier. Time and again, he plunged into iso-ball only to be hopelessly trapped. Irving was in delusion for a long time. He fancied himself Kobe-2, and wreaked havoc for years in Boston then Brooklyn. The reason he seems to have matured in Dallas is because Luka defers to him. He's deluded himself into thinking he's Batman, and Luka his Robin. I won't be surprised to see that rapport between them evaporate when he hears more and more comment that Luka's the no.1 Maverick.
Irving the only actual basketball player, not even just that, real basketball fans can see that LeBron is not any other superstar. Health, drama and being able to slot himself into any team and BECOME the system, but not become a piece but become every piece that his role players need and can't fill is ALOT harder than it looks. He has matured a lot now but god damn he really thought I won with 1 superstar I could go anywhere and win with little help, wait scratch that multiple superstars a little out of their prime, scratch that I'll take a superstar in his prime. Well scratch that one too.
The thing about Kyrie is that he allows the bs the media put out there! And that’s fcks with his mental and there he couldn’t perform at his full potential!! These media outlets will always push a narrative! Especially the negative ones!! And that’s what they did to Kyrie that led him to a decision that will forever hunt him!! Kyrie look up to Kobe, but missed the part where Kobe didn’t do it alone, he had Shaq, fisher, Odom etc! You gotta work together for the sake of the team!! But Kerv wanted to be the name alone and the alone he sure received his wish!!!
Kyrie had the chance to be an all time all time great, like top 15-20 player. Now he’ll probly end up around the top 50 if Luka carries him to a second chip
Kyrie had a horrible finals this past year I believe those boston fans really got to him never seen him that way before on the court, with that said he's a champion has been to 3 or 4 nba finals he's an all time great & a hall of famer
I definitely do think that Kai has ruined his career, but there's so much yet to come for him. He just made the finals with Luka Doncic and he is significantly more mature than he was a few years ago. Don't count him out.
Why do you think Kyrie has ruined his career ? When the players in the league go out of their ways to tell you how great his is. He's one of the most popular players in the league. @@terrence8483 No, he's not. And I'm not ignorant about anything. His career is unimpressive compared to his peers and players who people constantly put Kyrie above. His resume as the leader of a team is a joke and he's always put in conversations with the very best PGs (and players) in the NBA despite always playing behind a top 1-3 player in the league. Lebron when he was the best player in the world, KD when he was the best player in the world or fighting for that spot against Giannis (either way, he was top 3) and now Luka who's generally considered to be a top 3 player in the world. Meanwhile he's being put in talks as if he's better than guys who are actually leading their team and who will take all the blame if they lose. Kyrie gets all the credit, and takes none of the blame. He's not a leader. His entire legacy is carried by 1 playoff run where he was playing behind the best player of the last 20 years, arguably at his peak. Since then, he has routinely underperformed in the playoffs and it gets swept under the rug because of how popular he is amongst fans. He left Lebron because he wanted to lead a team on his own, he had an absolutely stacked young Celtics team behind him and they ended up being better without him. The Celtics got to the ECF on Kyrie's first year, when he got injured in the playoffs. Next season, when Kyrie plays, they disappoint and Kyrie has a horrible series against the Bucks and they lose in the second round. Kyrie gone again, Celtics back in the ECF. Just a coincidence though, right? He realizes he can't lead a team and needs to play second fiddle again, this time to KD in Brooklyn. The one series he and KD played together at full health, they got swept by the Celtics in one of KD's worst series. Kyrie also wasn't great but of course all the attention was on KD. This year in the Finals, what was the story? Luka. Luka's defense is the reason they're losing, all these random graphics about Luka, etc. ... Kyrie was dreadful in the Finals, horrible away at Boston and could not perform under the pressure in a hostile environment. At all. He was horrible. But, of course, didn't hear much about it because he's hiding behind Luka. He has never even sniffed an MVP award, he's never been First Team All-NBA, and he's only been All-NBA 3 times in his career... for someone who's talked about the way he is, that's shocking. Yet all of this is forgiven and ignored because hE's So fLaShY and oMg sO SkiLleD mOsT sKiLleD pLaYeR eVeR... it's honestly a joke. The only thing people ever do with Kyrie is bring up his "skill" and how he's so much more skilled than whoever he's being compared to. Or arbitrary illogical arguments based on pretty much nothing at all. So I stand by my comment and I don't really care what you think about it.
Kyrie with baby tatum and brown wouldn’t have won anything. It would’ve taken time to get to a truly competitive level and by then there would’ve been no way to pay all 3 let alone field any form of competitive roster after
There's a lot of different ways you can look at this. I think this was a master stroke by Kobe to separate LeBron and Kyrie.. Kyrie fell for it. Nobody wins without a second star ⭐. Wherever he went he was going to have to coexist with somebody. The real victim in this entire situation is LeBron. Who was supposed to be set for the rest of his career with his basically own version of Scottie pippen. His second star to help shoulder the load along with Kevin Love who likely would have been replaced at some point but still the two-man core would have been there to contained year after year. To get better year after year... To learn each other year after year. This is really f***** up... He wouldve caught up to Jordan ring wise by now... I'm almost sure of it
They would have kept losing to golden state, in the 2017 finals they got smoked in 5 games to them and they clearly didn’t stand a chance. So I don’t know why people think they would have won more together.

Draymond is a part of the reason Kd left but another reason is that kyrie and Kd wanted to play with each other. Even if what you’re saying is the case Kd was still on the warriors so they would have lost with kyrie against them in 2018 and 2019 would be a difficult because of that well rounded raptors team with kawhi and most likely having to see the 2019 rockets since they were the second best team in the west if they got past the raptors. 2020 and maybe 2021 are the only ones I see possibly winning if they stay together.

i wish bron was more communicative with kyrie that it was a batman & superman duo, not a batman & robin duo. kyrie was young, i don’t think he “ruined” his career. the media narratives are powerful on an impressionable young mind. bron shoulda been the one to really reign kai in & make sure he knew how important his role was. kai always looked up to kobe but kobe rattled off 3 rings with shaq before looking to go off on his own, even through the rocky relationship.
The advanced stats and metrics show that the team is better when kyrie is on the floor for every team he’s played for with a good vorp🤦♂️.

You obviously just watch and don't do research your opinion proves it.

Amazing video my G and I’ll use this example as it pertains to Kyrie’s NBA career as a whole:
If you had money as a kid growing up and your parents gave you everything you needed in life while at the same time never had to work for anything in your life so all you grew up with things being handed to you at a moments notice, compare that to a life where your parents didn’t have much but you were grateful for the opportunity to work hard for yourself and the people around you.

Its crazy before this years come back he played 3 seasons with LeBron and went to 3 straight Finals , in the 9 seasons without Bron he only won 2 first round series that's it , it was awesome to see him get back there this season !

@@MrMex44man i hope kyrie and luka success, one chip for the boys. Luka cement his place with giannis and jokic, and Kyrie gets his 2nd, sometime you cant be the man. But being a 2nd on the winning team aint that bad.
Kyrie forced his way from Lebron to be out of his shadow even though Lebron tried to give him the keys to the kingdom. Kyrie has admitted as much. Kyrie went to a great Celtics team, made them worse. Forces his way from Boston to Brooklyn next to 2 MVPs and lost. Forces his way out of Brooklyn and to Dallas. Now he found a little success next to Luka which is the closest to Lebron as you can get. Kyrie vanished in the finals but was only really there because the Nuggets choked against the Timberwolves. Kyrie is a top talent but if anyone thinks that Kyrie isn’t deserving of criticism is wild. People be freaking on Lebron for fulfilling a contract and leaving a team as a free agent. Let’s stay consistent people.

People talk about him as if he's literally God on the basketball court. Still, even after that Finals performance, which is mind-blowing. He might retire as the most overrated player in history.

Kyrie is your favorite player favorite player. Kyrie is almost a 50/40/90 scorer every year while taking the toughest shots. Listen to what players say about Kyrie then ask yourself why you like speaking on subjects you're ignorant about ? You clearly do not understand basketball. So why speak on it ?
@@ant4613 Be careful bro, he might throw a tantrum, yk how Kyrie fanboys are 🤣
at 37:31, it says the Mavs lost 2-4 when they lost 1-4
Between Kyrie and breaking up that Lakers team stopped alot of rings for ole goat James. Only reason he doesn't have six or seven rings 😅😅😅
Neymar of basketball 🏀
Kyrie is goated... He is legendary
He made the mistake of leaving lebron then made the same mistake leaving Tatum and Brown.
Kyrie with baby tatum and brown wouldn’t have won anything. It would’ve taken time to get to a truly competitive level and by then there would’ve been no way to pay all 3 let alone field any form of competitive roster after
Earned a ring.
@@abtocool6350 Are we talking about the KD warriors?
Yes
@@abtocool6350 Well, Draymond took care of that. So...moot point there. No KD, they can be beaten. and whos's to say they don't add someone like say...an AD during that time. Since we're imagining. AD as a cav along side Lebron and Kyrie. Could have happened.
At the end of kyrie’s career if he never wins another ring, ppl will always say “he should of stayed with lebron”
Can you blame them ?
@@prince-bm4xtyeah
No cause Kyrie still made a finals without LeBron. You don't see Scottie Pippen making a finals without Jordan as Jordan fans will notch that as another point in said debates about LeBron's "lack of help" in his career.
@@beastscale1892 kyrie made the finals with one of the faces of the league/the best player in the world
@prince-bm4xt
Your opinion as Luka is still a ringless player who only had 1 other deep playoff run in his career. Many say Jokic is over Luka for best player too with Giannis, and Embiid in the mix so I don't know what your spouting.
Fact remains is Kyrie made a finals without LeBron as that would be the only thing that matters in the discussion.
At least they got spida now
kyrie the flat earth weirdo love to mess things up
He just made the Finals.
Wasn’t he just a starter in the finals?
Why do you keep deleting my comment? I'm never coming to this channel again
I support Kyrie he's down with African Americans ✊️
When Dallas win the finals in the upcoming season the narrative will change
This ain't happening NO WAY. They ain't beating Boston this year, you know that damn well. Also the west is only getting stronger, i am not even sure if they are making it outta there.
Doin alright from what i can tell
Makes alot of money hoopin
His career is not ruined. He made a comeback
He just made the finals without KD and Bron and lifted the whole mavs how would you say ruined? Hater
Was luka how lifted the mavs not him he’s always be the guy who can’t carry a team to a championship without a super star kd need Steph and Kyrie need lebron
@@Mick-z4o lol luka can't make the finals without kyrie ask luka he knows that.
@@lharadrianherradura6642 we see that against Celtics
@@Mick-z4oyour acting like kyrie was just along for the ride. He averaged a solid 22/4/5 on 47/39/85 splits for the whole playoffs. He was the best player in the clippers series averaging 26.5/6/5 on 51/44/85 splits on 64% true shooting and in the western conference finals against the number ranked defense he averaged 27/3/4 on 49/37/81 splits on 58% true shooting. And all the stars in the finals statistically and objectively had bad scoring series so I don’t get only giving criticism.
