This is what makes the difference between New Wave and other academies. Positional sparring should be part of every BJJ school's curriculum. Ideally at the end of the class' sparrin/rolling session, when you're tired, so you're forced to try to focus while tired. Athletes in other technical sports, like swimming, do this to improve technique, by doing drills at the end of their session.

@@georgefoster2250 fixed the comment. grappling is the largest aspect of fighting and its the one that is the highest percentage of wins while being punched in the face. If you want bareknuckle fighting go to sister wives alabama, i hear its big there.
