the moment where he says "maybe he's smoking... not a cigarette but just his body is smoking" you see how fast his mind roots around for humor, because he clearly puts up two fingers like hes smoking a cigarette and then just decides it would be funnier if he was just on fire. guys a genius.

@@user-ed8zf5zv5j the movie airplane was good but this was clearly improvised. So he most likely didn't even know about the 1 pun in a movie like airplane which is completely full of one liner type jokes and puns and play on words. It doesn't make TJ a joke thief

Hmm... Yeah I would be curious to know how much was on the spot. I'm assuming he did pre-think at least some of it. At the very end he does mention the general idea came to him when he saw the lights dangling like that but who knows if that was truth or just more improv.
I was just watching some Rory Scovel sets and he seems to do a lot of quick witted improv similar to this. He is very impressive at riffing.

I'm just starting to see his standup. Always thought he was pretty funny in the flicks I've seen him in, but damn this dude is special when it comes to standup. He's got lighting speed wit and the dude is a stonecold weirdo. I love it.
