When trying to make sense of life, it’s challenges, trials, hurts and pains, the words of this song remind us that no matter what life throws at us, if we're put my trust and hope in Jesus, He will help us through. But He is not just the ‘God of the storm’ or a crutch to hold us up in difficult times. He’s always there come rain or sun. Even when our trial seems like an incomprehensible wave about to swallow us, we know our God is bigger than the storm.
