I liked the brown video. I am 75 years old and can only fish ponds. I caught a 7lb. 2oz. large mouth bass on a bright blue and silver flake worm 2 weeks ago my PB. I live in Columbus Ohio. I fish once a week for about 3 to 4 hours from the bank. The day I die I will be fishing. I watch your show all the time. Thanks Rawhide!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You know it’s going to be a good day when you start your day watching a smallmouth clinic no pressure no tournament just a day in a lake doing what you only know how to do. They say Oriole go fishing well Mr Greg Blanchard catches bass and you know when you have that smile and chuckle cause you’re catching so many on demand it’s a show to watch! Thank you for sharing your day on the water and bringing us a most needed reason to smile tight lines and take care and God bless!
Greg. This has got to be one of the best viewing videos you've put out... The gin clear water helped out a lot... What amazes me the most is all this beautiful shoreline, without cottage after cottage of developed land !! Truly has to be hard to go back to the west coast and leave this behind !?! I just watched the ending... NO NO THIS NEVER GETS OLD .. BELIEVE ME..😂
While beholding those gorgeous Smallmouth, it seemed like a good time to send thanks to Greg, for recording and posting his videos in this super awesome high-def format.
Am I the only one who saw that big Ole spider come up behind you at 33:58? Lol. I wish there were smallmouth here near me in Georgia, haven't ever caught one.. love your content Greg, big fan here!!
Hi Greg, just back from a tournament on Oroville. It was a grind for me (maybe because it was in the 90s and I'm a wimp!) so it's a relief to see you catching all the Smallies. Thanks for sharing the photos of your grandfather from your childhood. I think it's one of the nicest things for kids to have someone inspire them in a positive way. I used to go fishing on the Delta with my dad and an older brother in an aluminum rowboat. It was my job to use a coffee can to bail water. When I met my husband Rod, he had an aluminum fish/ski boat. The first thing I asked him about was the coffee can LOL. You can imagine how thrilled I was when I saw the carpet! Ha-ha! You fished every angler's dream; too bad Smallies in CA aren't the footballs in NY. Can't wait for your next video to continue learning new techniques. 😊🎣😊
Gotta love the memories and remembering how are love for fishing began! Thanks for sharing. One more video in the NY series and then back to California fishing where the fish seem much pickier LOL
WOW 🤩 That was a productive day of fishing💯So cool being able to see the fish chasing the bait!!! Just seeing all the fish!!! Never get tired of watching your videos, Greg!!! Thanks for sharing your awesome day with us❣️👍🏼😊
Ahhh yes….a little turn and burn, strong cup of coffee , latest GB video. Ready to get after this Monday. Thank you Greg for another banger! Tight lines boys!!!
Gotta love the brown fish! They just hold a special place in your heart! Can’t explain why but they’re just different than largemouth. Awesome episode Greg! Thank you sir!
Ah I love bass fishing, Otisco lake has produced me a lot of great fish. Glad to see you were able to take advantage of your time here to get back to Otisco
Greg, definitely the best day so far. Going to order those perch minnows. Glad to see you catching them on the Glide bait. Mike would've loved throwing his big baits. Awesome aggressive smallouth!! 💯 🛶 🎣
Man this video brought back some memories for me about 35 years ago when I was a teen. I went to upstate New York and caught my first smallies. We were throwing hula poppers and jitter bugs and the small mouth would jump out of the water and land on the baits! We caught them on 3 inch tube jigs as well. Great memories never did the spawn though. The rains storms were intense as well and short, I would be soaked after 3-5 minutes of rain and it would stop and the sun would come out. Crazy!!! Nice video!!
I'm slightly biased being from Ohio, but there's just nothing better than Northern smallie fishing. Beautiful waters, beautiful tanks and the best fights! I'm heading up to Canada next week. Appreciate the video, Greg!
Thanks Michael! always a pleasure to come back to NY and spend time and fish. One more video from the trip but maybe I can sneak in a week or two back in NY before the year ends
Perfect timing as usual Greg. I just won a tournament this weekend on bedding smallies. Such a great video. How this channel isn't over 500k subs is unbelievable to me.
✌️👍 Soldier what a great day at the office right?? That was a nice change of soldier. Floating Downstream Gene Clear Water banging nice Smalley's left and right.. Soldier when that small he came out and drilled that got Glide bait right next to the boat..... that was an awesome shot Soldier you did a good job with that one..👍✌️
Man, Cayuga Tompkins Onondaga should all give you the key to the city/county, because you are going to boost their tourism this summer 😆 great catches!
man, you make it look so easy. Went to the CA Delta this weekend and got nothing. Not even a bite. Threw everything from frogs, spinnerbaits, chatter baits to jerk baits, whopper ploppers and even senkos and drop shots. Nothing! Love your videos, hope to see you on the Delta one day sir!
its easy when they're biting like that LOL. Delta is overall a tough place to fish and a declining fishery imo. Still good fish to be caught but just seems like the last couple years it's not the greatest
Hey Greg buzzbait and ploppers can be a very effective way to catch them in the rain as when it rains the bass tend to look up as many bugs and other creatures get washed into the water. Also the noise is helps even tho it seems as it could cancel out. Love the videos! Keep Slayin
Wow Greg you killed it out there lol wow what a great day. 👍 But you had to get soaked first lol. Thanks for the video bro can't wait for the next one.
Flying back to PA this week, hoping to get on some river small mouth too. Hoping I can find some spawner. Might be a bit late but you never know. Make me want to drive up to the finger lakes only a couple hours south of them.
You're right. It's not fair 😅 I'm going to otisco after my tournament on Seneca this weekend! This week, im spending on seneca pre fishing. Everyone seems scared of seneca, and I've never brought my kayak out on that lake but we're going full send for the tournament!
I really enjoyed watching you commit to fishing the glide bait. Not trying to tell you how to fish but when your fishing these heavy and expensive baits is best practice to re-tie frequent. Listing a giant bass or a 100 dollar lure stings more than anything.
I have had consistent success with a buzz bait in the rain. Heavy rains coming in with a storm system? Not so much. Rains where the sun is still present and the temps dont alter too much? It sets up pretty well. Relatively speaking to your conditions and variables of your body of water!...✊🏾
Wow, what a day on the finger lakes fishing for smallies! That was an awesome strike by the kayak at the end of the video! I bet it's hard to go back to California after days like this. Enjoyed the video!!! How many did you catch?
Haha and Greg still hasn't learned .. no rain gear means it's going to rain when not expected😅.. one of my coldest moments I've ever been was in August.. fishing a tournament in NC around 20 years old .. "I don't need rain gear, hell if it rains it will feel good with a high near 100".. wrong poured it's butt off for over an hour and was windy .. I keep something in my boat at all times ha
Hey Greg, have you thought about using a polarized lens cap for your go pro? Just because you do a lot of water pointing and most of the time it’s hard to see what you’re pointing at 😅 love the content man!

Amazing! Hope I'm able to do the same when I'm 75
I like it when Greg comes back to the Finger Lakes / CNY and fishes all my fisheries, we got it good here when it isn't snowing. ;)
haha if it weren't for the winters I might be there year round

Thank you! The finger lakes are truly amazing and yep, it was tough to leave!
Epic day of bagging brownies!!! Thanks once again GB and no sir we ain’t board of the NY series. Keep it up brother and tight lines forever!
Thank you sir! one more video in the series but hoping I can sneak back there again this summer even for a week
While beholding those gorgeous Smallmouth, it seemed like a good time to send thanks to Greg, for recording and posting his videos in this super awesome high-def format.
Greg, you just had a day of fishing most of us only dream about. Thanks for taking us along.
Ain’t that the truth. My last few trips have sucked!
Thanks Terry! right place right time, definitely lucky
Wake up folks, new Greg vid dropped.
Yey!!!
Love to see Greg on the glide bite!! Awesome stuff
That’s how you start a work week; with a Greg video
Am I the only one who saw that big Ole spider come up behind you at 33:58? Lol. I wish there were smallmouth here near me in Georgia, haven't ever caught one.. love your content Greg, big fan here!!

Anyone sick of this is nuts. Your NY trips are the absolute best. Love living here in the Finger Lakes region, wouldn't trade it for anything.
thank you sir! wish I could spend more time in NY
@@GregBlanchardFishing you're welcome and I bet
WOW 🤩 That was a productive day of fishing💯So cool being able to see the fish chasing the bait!!! Just seeing all the fish!!! Never get tired of watching your videos, Greg!!! Thanks for sharing your awesome day with us❣️👍🏼😊
Thanks Sandy! it was a fantastic day out there
@@GregBlanchardFishing I’ve never seen you so happy and “chill”❣️
Ahhh yes….a little turn and burn, strong cup of coffee
, latest GB video. Ready to get after this Monday. Thank you Greg for another banger!
Tight lines boys!!!
I know that I’m not the only one that has really enjoyed Greg’s New York fishing content!
Hope to maybe sneak another trip before the years over!
Gotta love the brown fish! They just hold a special place in your heart! Can’t explain why but they’re just different than largemouth. Awesome episode Greg! Thank you sir!
yessir! really cool to see them, awesome fish
Ah I love bass fishing, Otisco lake has produced me a lot of great fish. Glad to see you were able to take advantage of your time here to get back to Otisco
☕️☕️☕️ so glad you said it out loud when you casted over that dock structure and got a bite. I said how is he going to land a fish if he gets bit. 😂
Title of vid: Greg’s most awesomest smallie day😁
There nothing better then going on lunch break and enjoying G.B video....
Greg, definitely the best day so far. Going to order those perch minnows. Glad to see you catching them on the Glide bait. Mike would've loved throwing his big baits. Awesome aggressive smallouth!! 💯 🛶 🎣
Thanks for taking us along. Always appreciate it when someone takes me fishing.

Thanks Michael! always a pleasure to come back to NY and spend time and fish. One more video from the trip but maybe I can sneak in a week or two back in NY before the year ends
@GregBlanchardFishing that would be awesome. I always look forward to your content when it comes out.
Great video man! Loved to see some big swimbait work. I've noticed overall smallies are just more inclined to bite
definitely and when they're on bed it's almost a guarantee!
@@GregBlanchardFishing absolutely killer smallies here in Connecticut too insane fishing
Epic! Chunky ones too. Smallies are so pretty and they're good fighters.
Goodness gracious!!! You slayed em!!! If I ever had a day like that, I would think that I was dreaming. Great video brotha!!!🎣🎣🎣
Great seeing you catch some brown friends again haha. Good stuff as always man. Hopefully I’ll cross paths with you one day!
Perfect timing as usual Greg. I just won a tournament this weekend on bedding smallies. Such a great video. How this channel isn't over 500k subs is unbelievable to me.
Hell yea, congrats man!
Too easy for you on this day!!! Those smallmouth are gorgeous!
I have never been smallmouth fishing before...I don't have any near me, but it looks like so much fun! Loved the video as always!

Monday morning vibes😊 that's a nice way to start out the week

Haha, lots of major tournament trails venturing that way in the past couple years. Definitely helps local business
Next time you get rained on like that, throw a spinnerbait, works like a charm!
You really hit it while they were turned on. Simply amazing vid. It had to be super fun. I am jealous!😃
Wow amazing bite & beautiful fish thanks for taking us along.
I’m in northern Minnesota and found largie and smallie spawn. Amazing days. A great video
This just in: Greg becomes addicted to big swimbaits, never places in a top 10 again 🤣
🤣🤣🤣
When I saw the gigantic perch lure, I was like 😲😲😲😲😲
i can not picture greg in NY ice fishing. Packing up his sled and heading out for a days fishing.
hahah that would be a sight

The feeling he has is the same feeling I have going to the sticks of Massachusetts in the spring
Man... that clear water is to die for! What an incredible place to be able to fish. I'm surprised you're still in Cali, Greg 🤤
Cloudy weather is the best weather for topwater
That's sooooo many fish!!! Crazy I may need to make the 5 hour drive!!
It’s even better when it rains
I'm going on a fishing trip to Wisconsin next week and this video has me HYPED to target some smallies!
Those finger lakes are incredible! Wow! Awesome! fishing Greg.🙂🍻👍

Wow Greg you killed it out there lol wow what a great day. 👍 But you had to get soaked first lol. Thanks for the video bro can't wait for the next one.
Dude, it would have been hard to get me off that lake! 😂
Great video!
Guess I’m booking a flight to New York! What a crazy fishing trip, literally what dreams are made of!
Craaazyy day bro! Days we dream of! And im done im getting that boat. Unless a stupid deal comes up something else i’ve made my mind up lol
Love the bronzebacks 😊 and your videos. Think you need another couple weeks in NY 😅
Look forward to your NY trip every year.
You had the right bait! Nice job!
Flying back to PA this week, hoping to get on some river small mouth too. Hoping I can find some spawner. Might be a bit late but you never know. Make me want to drive up to the finger lakes only a couple hours south of them.

Amazing Day Greg!

I have rarely had the privilege of catching smallies like this in my past. There just aren't many here in my location in central Alabama.

That was an epic day of fishing
Yes to a buzzbait in the rain! Killer bait IMO.
Damn. New York puttin on a show!
Greg we need you back in Cali 😂
Epic stuff Greg👊🏻
You should try and use that same drop shot bait at lake berryessa
Epic! Your video is making me rethink my interest in renting a cabin on Honeoye. Have you fished this lake before? Thanks.
Every smallmouth I've ever caught has been pissed off. They are so much fun.
I caught a coupe good ones the other day on a buzz bait in pretty windy conditions. I threw it just for the heck of it and was shocked to get bites.
In your next video would you please explain that knot you use that has three tag ends? Thanks!
The floating drop shot bait comes right back and Greg one hands it and in one movement hooks it and casts again. Or great editing?
Wow what a Smally fest....beautiful fish..
Wow, what a day on the finger lakes fishing for smallies! That was an awesome strike by the kayak at the end of the video! I bet it's hard to go back to California after days like this. Enjoyed the video!!! How many did you catch?
Ridiculous. You sure this isn’t AI??? Amazing. Thanks Greg.
Is that glide bait Danny's Striker Shad?
Can wait for the delta tournament video

Banner day! Congrats.
Anyone else see the fair sized spider building a web on the rods at about 33:59?
Star of the video, lol
pound for pound smallmouth give a bigger fight than LMB
I think the only fish pound for pound that may give more of a fight is the peacock bass
Hey Greg, have you thought about using a polarized lens cap for your go pro? Just because you do a lot of water pointing and most of the time it’s hard to see what you’re pointing at 😅 love the content man!
What a day of jumping footballs!
Awesome video!!
Have you been down to the Susquehanna for smallies? If not, I recommend for sure!
Looks like weather in MA.
Greg I thought you said you
" I suck at bed fishing"?
I guess you have gotten better at it.
Eh, easy to catch them when they were that fired up haha
Good point!
Only about 400" of smallies today, no big deal. 😃
How did you not see that rain coming before you launched 😂😂😂I know you got a radar
Wow, could it get any better !!!!!!!!
Come back
We miss you on the delta
