I have the 6 button version and I believe mine takes 2 batteries otherwise the pins on the circuit board don't reach the battery...
Is that correct?
It's a second hand vehicle so I don't know what the previous owner did, but I'm pretty certain when it was first opened, there were two batteries with the polarities flipped and a piece of plastic (insulator of some kind) in between the two batteries.
Either way, I can't get my remote to work and now I have to climb over to the passenger side to get out of the car, otherwise I can't lock it.

problem is you need a whole professional workshop full of tools in order to get the new battery out of the package it comes in ,,, duracell unbelievable !!! Great video though ,nice clear instruction and none of that stupid music that so many people seem to think they have to include
