- It is legal in Australia to find your own gemstones. When prospecting in Australia, there is a limit on how much gemstones one is allowed to take. You have to think outside the square and only pick the best specimens. Sometimes you have to smash a few of them to get to the best pieces.

I’ve watched you 2 for years now. You still make me laugh every time Liz thankyou
I'm glad. Thanks for watching and for your support all these years. Take care and stay healthy.
Very underrated, beautiful semi-precious stone. I love it
Couldn't agree more! The ones that are translucent with emerald green or imperial jade like color can still fetch a pretty penny. Thanks for watching.
I realize it's kinda off topic but does anyone know of a good site to watch new movies online?
@Kyree Rylan Flixportal :)
@Mohammed Conor thank you, signed up and it seems like they got a lot of movies there =) I really appreciate it !
@Kyree Rylan Glad I could help :D
Liz that color is just beautiful. Would love to see you make more jewelry creations with all these lovely gems you've been finding.
Been wanting to make more jewelry but just can't find the inspiration and energy for stone cutting at the moment. Will eventually get there so please be patient. Thanks for watching.

That turquoise 💎 color was exactly the same color as that glove! 😮
Absolutely beautiful and amazing... looks like you're having a great time! 👍💜🌿
Yes! Thank you!
But its not Turquoise Precious soul turquoise is another stone going more to bleu ...
@@GraciaBelievesthatJesusSaves The "color"...
Enjoyed the adventure, cheers for sharing,
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for watching.
im just laughing, you always find the biggest and the mostest ! You Never fail to Amaze !!
Thanks Mate. You take care and stay safe.
Great enthusiasm for my favorite gemstone. Chrysoprase
Wooohooo! a new video...love it. You always find the big stuff, so pretty.
Oh, that wind makes it rough...when your trying to prospect ;) . lol..
At least it keeps the fly off.
@@LizKreate True.. that's always a plus.
OMG Iam just as excited watching you both chipping away than with you both discovering these beautiful 💎 stones
Glad you enjoyed it Marie! Thanks for watching.
Wow. Stunningly beautiful chrysoprase. Getting quite rare these days and very exprensive. Such a sublime color and one of my favorite gems. Thanks for sharing 👍
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching.
My favourite gemstone, what a find! 👌 I should buy a piece...
Good choice! It's a beautiful gem. Thanks for watching.
How exciting. It’s all fabulous ❤
Not a secret location but will need 40E. Prospecting in Western Australia can be a bit tricky because of the licenses and permits required. This is the reason I can't say where this is.
AWESOME! It always makes my day when you upload!
Glad you enjoy it!
well that was a pleasant surprise guys..well done and thanks for the adventure
Thanks for watching Mate. Stay safe.
That is a very pretty find!
Thank you. Sure is. Wish I could have taken more with me. Will definitely be going back there.
Awesome adventure wow ocean colour beautiful great eye love the excitement awesome lol wind keeps the flys away lol awesome awesome thank you
Glad you enjoyed Miles. Thanks for watching.
Glad to see you’re back hope your year has started off well
So far so good. Can't complain. Thanks for watching and stay safe and healthy.
Wow what a color😍 amazing
Thank you! Cheers!
Gorgeous material! Enjoyed seeing you get the color come out of the host rock. Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Very glad to "see" you! and I wish you film the making of nice stones.
Thanks for watching and will do when I get the time.
Cyrsophrace fades over time in sunlight. I think it just as pretty as any other expensive stone's. I would love to have some. Dont have any in my Collections.
Awesome video !!! Thanks for the video.
Glad you liked it Sandra and thanks for watching.
Oh my, that chrysoprase is lovely! And it's a good thing that Pedro has his own tent, else he'd be blown away like a leaf, LOL. Hugs all 'round from all of us here in the US!
Love your enthusiasm Liz, keep up the good work!!
Thanks so much Jason. Glad you enjoyed the video.
Another absolutely smashing video 😀
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for watching Stella.
It is unbelievable! If only I could be there with you with my own geological hammer! I love it!!!
I send you many greetings from the czech republic :-)
Thank you very much!
beautiful chryso
I also love this hobby
Very rewarding just like succulents...LOL
@@LizKreate rewarding ended...and put it beside your succulents,awesome 😆
Liz, your videos are the reason my dream vacation is a month traveling around Australia fossicking. You and Wal are awesome. I've camped in windy conditions like that (in Kansas, even) and I am willing to brave the weather and every dangerous animal in AU for the opportunity to find things like you have. Thank you so much for your videos!
We don't really have any dangerous animals like you have. I don't even know where that impression actually came from. Australia is one of the safest countries in the world.
@@LizKreate I apologize! Australia has a (probably undeserved) reputation here for having the most venomous/dangerous animals. Every time I tell folks I want to visit, someone tells me that the wildlife will kill me. ;) As a biologist, I'd love to experience a whole new set of biomes. As an amateur gem/mineral/rock enthusiast, I would love to explore an entirely different geology. I apologize again if I offended!
@@virginiaphillips3946 No offense at all. We actually tell new visitors to Australia to watch out for the "Drop Bears and the Yowie." These are our most dangerous animals here...LOL
But seriously, of all the years we've been out in the bush, we are lucky to find snake sightings and actually have to search them out sometimes.
Oh goody my state! Love your vids Liz.
😊 thank you. Glad you like them.
So cool!
Thanks for watching.
Absolutely beautiful stone!
Thank you! Cheers!
Would love to go rockhounding with liz and Wal always wanted to go to Australia
Thanks for watching Michael and hope you get the chance to visit Australia one day.
So do i always wanted to go and explore and go rockhounding
Beautiful stones🤩🤩🤩💖💖
Thanks for watching yo mama.
Oh,that would be hard for me!I like to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear! You have some great rocks there, and so much of it ,too! I would be taking as much as I logically could!
I would have love to but its not allowed Debbie. There's limit as to how much one can take. Big fines. Thanks for watching.
I will use your towel, say Mr husband 😆
He is a funny man. Thanks for watching.
Love your videos Liz&Wal! Do you have any plans for any "Gold" videos anytime soon...those are my favorites!
Unfortunately, COVID-19 kept us away for our annual gold prospecting trip. I'll see if I can wrangle some old videos. Thanks for watching.
Maranatha!
Wow gorgeous.
Thank you! 😊
would love to exchange rocks, I'm from Minnesota lots of beautiful agates!
We also have lots of beautiful Agates here in Australia. Got a couple of videos in my channel if you're interested. Thanks for watching.
I know that is why I wanted to exchange rocks.
@@lisacooper8240 LOL...I'm not selling or doing swap at the moment but hoping I'll get to do a bit further down the track.
Another great video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
That red dirt is amazing to me. I know a lot of Australians hate it but I don't have that here on the East coast in the United States so it really just fascinates me. LOL and as you're chipping away all the rock away from the gemstone I'm thinking how crumbly it is and I could use that in my succulent soil LOL but I'm short it probably lacks the minerals that the granite has. But you really inspire me with your positivity. You're always so happy and positive. 💕
The soil/rocks is no good for succulents. It'll kill them...LOL I have a couple pieces of Chrysoprase chips displayed with my succulents.
@@LizKreate that blue color is amazing.
So speaking of the rocks killing the succulents I'm now beginning to be able to see which succulents thrive on the high granite soil mix and which ones really don't like it. It's fascinating. So I'm making adjustments as needed and I think I'm finally at the stage where if I lose a couple here and there, then it's okay it's not going to burden my inventory. But with my soil mix and my new grow lights I'm seeing all these wonderful colors coming out 💕 oh! Speaking of that, I have a huge rubella that I just did a head shop yesterday. And it really did not like the soil mix, since I already chopped it can I transplant the stem into a different soil mixture or is it best I just leave it alone and leave it where it is this is the only mature rubella I have. And I want to give it the best chance to throw off pups.
@@janetac1738 I suggest letting it dry out first by just putting it on an empty vase with narrow mouth and let it grow roots on it's own; then plant it on your preferred soil. It might take a few months weeks to grow roots since it's still Winter in your area.
@@LizKreate no I mean the stem not the head. Is it safe for me to uproot the stem to transplant it.
Hi Liz, great to see you and Wal again. As always you have put yourselves on to some great looking material. Lovely looking rock.
I have a question, the chrysoprase at the beginning has a similar look to dendritic opalite with the grey streaks in it, can it be cabbed and worked in a similar way. Keep Safe & Keep Rockin
Yes it can. It's softer than the Chrysoprase and I suspect it is a form of dendritic opalite/Turquoise but need to have it check to be sure. Testing cost too much.
Hi Lizz 🙋🏻♀️🥿🥿Beautifull lizz as youre positivity is Jumping of the screen while you were doing this Yes its Chrysoprase its not the same stone as Turquoise and not the same as Jade as you said it is Chrysoprase .👍📜📖
Yes! Thank you!
Amazing xxx
Thanks Klaire.
Wow beautiful colour. Liz are you in a quarry? I don’t rock hound but i did not know there were weight restrictions. Love your channel
This is old mines tailings heaps. Every State has it's own weight limit on rocks and minerals you're allowed to keep so it's worth finding out before you head out as there are big fines. Thanks for watching.
Nice vadio love you best of luck
Thanks!
❤️
nice video interesting find
Thanks for watching David.
👍 nice finds, was that a snake track under the table near the creates.
No it's the wind blown the table. There ain't no snake in Australia....LOL
Hello, I interested about this Chrysopase, can we talk about that stone??
I don't sell. Thanks for watching.
For some reason you aren't on my feed hum? No worries I have found the channel anyway.
For some reason also, you're showing not subscribed to my channel. I'm glad you found your way back. Thanks for watching.
@@LizKreate thats funny because thats the first thing I checked and yes I am a subscriber
Can i buy it
Will you tumble the stones?
Eventually. Have to cut some into cabochons first and the off cuts will be tumbled. Thanks for watching.
What is the rock in which the chrysoprase is embedded?
Can't be certain Mike but it feels like Jasper. Very sharp and angular.
😱
❤❤❤
How are the succulents doing?
They are "Growing Succulents with LizK"....LOL I created a whole new channel for them. I do daily(just about) vlog and they are doing great. Li nk below if you'd like to check it out. Thanks.

Is this a stone? What do you make with that stone?
This is a valuable gemstone and they are use to make jewelry. Thanks for watching Jonas.
@@LizKreate is it more value than amber?

Gemstones coming out of petrified giant/titans remains.
G'day Liz and Wal great to see that you've been out doing what you love.
I would like to be able to do the same but unfortunately my back wouldn't let me so it's great that you put your trips around Australia up so it's like we're out there with you guys . Do you have a shop online that we could buy some of the beautiful gems you find on your trips.was that a snake trail under the table.
Much love and light to both of you and may God's Angels watch over you and keep you safe ❤️🙏 from Dean Vic
Hi Dean, Would really love to answer you with ...YES...It's a snake trail but they are far and few between. Just the table legs got moved by the wind. Thanks for watching and you take care and stay safe.
Sorry, miss your first question. I don't have an online shop yet but planning to open one again in the future.
Thanks Liz
That's ocean picture stone isn't it?
It's Chrysoprase AKA Australian Jade. In some Asian countries, they sell this as Jade and can be quite valuable.
How come people dislike this video???
They meant to hit like but accidentally hit the other button...LOL Thanks for watching Kane.
Hi

Thank for watching.
You could make some expensive specimens out of this stuff
Just hoping to get some nice clean cabochons for jewelry John. Thanks for watching.
@@LizKreate I think you will by the looks of it, some of it is very translucent and clean. You're welcome
Can I buy some of you??
Not selling sorry. Thanks for watching.
Chinese jade?
Australian Jade.
if I were you, instead of using a pick and hammer and shattering the whole specimen, I'd take home the big boulders and use a sand blaster or like pressurized water hose to get the sand stone off without shattering the whole bit. no?
I would love to, but we can't. We're thousands of miles from home and have very limited time. We still gather other gemstones along the way. We just don't have the capacity to take home a rock that size. We also have an allowed weight limit to what we can take home legally. Thanks for watching.
