- Welcome to the video tour of some selct filming locations from the 1972 classic A Clockwork Orange. This is one of my favourite films and I'm delighted to take you to some of the iconic places from the film!

Thank you for making and uploading this video. I've always wanted to visit a couple of the film's iconic locations: Thamesmead and Wandsworth. I was worried that the Thamesmead path was gone forever because of redevelopment and that I'd end up choosing the wrong subway for a selfie. Your video gave me the directions I needed to get those Clockwork selfies. I even managed to arrive in time for a delicious all day breakfast at the Lakeside Café before they closed.
You did such a great job. Don't throw your coat away. It's very cool. I'm so jealous I would love to be at all those spots and what pains me most is I was in London twice in the late 80's & early 90's but I was too busy going to Manchester to party at the Hacienda and to the city where my beloved New Order and The Smiths came from. Thanks again. Great work

They look quite easy to get to? Also, love the narration style and terminology from the book/film, a nice touch!

Stanley Kubrick's Full Metal Jacket was entirely filmed in England which I still find hard to believe
Yeah, I remember I had to write an essay about Kubrick back in the film studies day and that was one of the facts that blew my mind when doing my research!

Chris Cunningham filmed the video for Come To Daddy on that same housing estate.

@@Nostalgia_tripsNever heard of Aphex Twin, the English Ambient pioneer who began making music in the 90s? First of all, he's great, but back to Cunningham. He made a number of destinctive music videos in the late 90s and early 00s. One was a video for Bjork's All is Full Of Love and the word at the time was Kubrick saw this video (basically, it's two female robots engaged in a tender kiss for 3 minutes. It's quiet astonishing looking) and asked Cunningham to contribute to AI. He oversaw anamatronics testing on the film. That said, I don't know if he contributed to Speilberg's. He's not listed in the credits, but he did work on the movie when Kubrick was overseeing his project. A very talented visual artist.
The film could not be made today as its incorrect to do so, thanks for this very interesting guided tour for subservient druges.
