Hi, I'm driving manual S variant Honda Amaze for the last 3 years. Best car in the segment, I purchased it for 7.5 lakhs on road, honda reliability, customer service, practical use of the car especially lots of space in the rear and boot are definitely a great positive for the car. I never found ground clearance as a challenge it depends on individuals driving style and I drove to kodaikanal with all occupants and heavy luggage in the boot but the ride ride and ground clearance was great. Do not miss this car if you are looking for compact sedan cars

I have the same car S variant, it's been 1 year now. It's a decent family car with lenient power and decent fuel economy. I get 12 in city and 16+ in highway.

I have been using CVT since Dec 2021. Crossed 37k. Mostly long drives. Mileage: Inside Chennai city: 10 kms/l & in the highway: in 100 kms /h - average is 17 kms/l. In 120 kms/h - average is 13 to 14 kms/l. Very spacious cabin.

I bought Amaze petrol CVT. Reliable vehicle drove 10k kms in less then 9 months. Pros: Great drives great in city and highway. Deliveres the engine power of 1.2l engine as expected. Good build. Best for people who donr want many fancy features. Budget friendly car for a small family. Best car for a first car buyer's.
Cons: not sporty engin like competitors models. Have to drive more carefully when loaded with 3 people in 2nd row and loaded boot when going above humps.
Note: dealer experience will also be a major decision maken when selecting a car.
Overall: good car not great budget friendly better car

Amaze petrol midvarient -Owned over 1.5 year driven 10k ,city traffic mileage 13-14km for proper driver and 15-16 in highway, 100-110 km speed on highway we will have proper control, crossing 120 I am loosing my confidence to push it further can feel roll and jerks in the back , best car in the price range ,reliable engine,will definitely cross one lakh km .over the time you will start to fall in love with your car more - The negative thing is definitely have to downshift for overtaking, engine is not a torque head

Bought Amaze CVT 2024 in Apr 24 after seeing this review. It's worthy. I have driven around 5K KM both in city and highways. No notable complaints, minor observation is tyre noise which I got them fixed by replacing Tyres with Michelin xm2 185 R15. Can we do padding to avoid the air noise as well?

The look of the car especially the front bumper can be much more appealing. Other than that everything is good with this car.

In chennai city traffic it gives 12 and in highway 16 to 19. Its a good car easy to maintain and good interior space in the segment.
Asir sir, can you do an underrated episode of City 5th gen Manual. It’d be good for people to know what they are missing out by spending 15 to 20 lakhs on a jacked up hatch back called compact SUVs, when they can get a chauffeur class sedan with a world class engine.

I shortlisted Tiago , Ignis, i10,aura,Tigor, i20 ,amaze but final competition between i20 vs Amaze. Amaze I felt more spacious but 1.5 L extra compared to i20 so finally chose i20 as my first car

Triber is also underrated. You can conisder covering it. Brilliantly packaged 3 rows under 4m
We once took the triber fully loaded with 7 passengers on a trip to Munnar. It had a really tough time since it was a 999cc petrol engine. The engine just doesn't suit the car's seating capacity. The engine overheated and had the radiator fluid boiling and bubbling out. Also Renault compromises on build quality to make the car lighter for the smaller engine. The triber is just an extended Kwid. If you're only going to use it for the city it might suit you. But for even a short trip it might be inconvenient and dangerous too. Close to zero boot space.

We recently went to ooty with 6 male adults. Not much issue with the car. Only issue was the engine noise was high and brake was weak (it's a zoom car)

Yes, it is not available in tamil nadu. You can get them from Andhra, kerela, pondi but don't know y tn didn't implemented bh procedures.

Amaze is absolutely awesome, but the customer service is really bad. Now they focus more towards Elevate. I booked Amaze earlier this year and they couldn't able to deliver it on time, it happened twice in the same year. They don't bothered about the walk in sale customers. Honda will eventually go down the lane because of unfair approach, only Elevate sales can help them to stay in market.

Rear AC vent in most cars is a gimmick. You don't need a rear AC vent unless it's a 7 seater.
AC is really good, even at the back. I hear appreciation from my friends and family for the AC and the smooth ride.

I have Honda Amaze CVT petrol, this is the only problem I have (Steering not coming to center). Otherwise, it's best in the segment. Mileage I get about 14 in city and 16 to 17 in Highway.

True I also find ground clearance a bit low. Scratches in some high speed brakers even how slow you take.
Other wise car is so good to use.

I bought amaze 6 months before, it’s really a amazing vehicle. Ofcourse there are some cons like ground clearance & fancy features. But I was looking for a good engine in that way it satisfies. Fancy features we can addon in after market.

I dropped to buy the car for many features, not a great features. Most important point , the second row, hand holder is not foldable. And it is hitting the head for tall person .

Its a good car with useful features i skipped it coz as it doesn't have hill hold assist in automatic which is a drawback why not mentioned in video?
it has that..its not mentioned in any of the promotions. but if you leave your car in Drive mode on a slope. it doesnt roll back..i just tried that yesterday
Honda amaze has something called "creep mode", which is useful while going up on a inclined surface.
Even though it's not advertised as hill hold assist, it performs in the same way.
creep mode is not that, When you take your leg off the brake, the car automatically moves forward/backward based on your gear selection, thats what called as creep mode
@@jebas95 I didn't know much about that function. I just wanted to let that other person know that simply not having hill hold is not a huge deal breaker to reject amaze all together. My uncle has 2016 amaze model, it's truly a remarkable machine.
