I live in Houston Texas and there are soo many places that I would not even go in broad day light. In the states, people hold you up at the gas station. You can get murder or raped if you are a single woman or MAN jogging by yourself early in the park. God forbid but America is not a bed of Roses. Thank you so much ladies. I cannot wait to go back to Jamaica on vacation. Missing the food

Exactly, it's crazy to me that this is happening in our own backyard every single day, but the government recommends do not travel to Jamaica. I'm happy you found this video helpful and yes, book that trip to Jamaica my friend!

Thank you for this video. This travel advisory is a strategic way that the US government bullies other countries such as Jamaica and the Bahamas because of political reasons. As a Jamaican, I have never heard of any tourist being harmed in a resort, ever. Jamaica is one of the safest places for tourists to visit. The GOJ doesn’t play about the protection of tourists. I’m not saying it’s impossible but, what I would advise that everyone use wisdom as you should do anywhere in the world.

You're welcome Tisha! I can't say enough how much I love Jamaica and always feel the warm, welcome and friendly vibes. My family is from Jamaica too : ) And yes, tourists have to travel smart and be alert anywhere they go because anything can happen at anytime, in any country.
