In the balloon ornaments for the kids table, it would be fun to put surprises in them. When Christmas festivities are done, the kids pick a balloon and pop it to find their surprise.
Number one was pretty but I think something tall in the middle would look great! Number two wasa great presenter with great instructions but I think I would have just bought the green dollar tree and done the flocking on those branches.
That beautiful centerpiece can even go on the door… lengthwise 😊

As a 50 yr. Florist(professionally trained) go to your local florist and ask for 4" wired green picks( they're wooden,can be cut if need be!). Also, there is a spray glitter in gold or silver called " glitterama"--this stuff is fantastic!!! None of this borax concoction...I used it for decades-- great stuff!! If you are "designing at home" this will make your job easier. Palm Springs Miriam

Since the trees r from dollar tree, I try to use more of my expensive ribbon, ornaments, etc. U could use any color theme!!!!!...,I just spray with flock tree spray , outside of course

Every hear of using borax and water to make things sparkle and glitter? Seems a lot easier than glue and glitter… although you do need to spray glue after the borax adds the glitter bling
How does borax and water sparkle?
It crystallizes when it dries, I think. I’ve never tried it, but I’ve heard of using it for faux frost.
65 years ago my grandmother used this idea successfully. She used the spiraea bush which has gorgeous foliage. ❤️

Kids table for the balloon arrangement⁉️ Who thinks it is going to last 5 minutes before the balloons get popped and someone ends up in tears?? (Probably ME) And by the time you buy all of the supplies to make the farmhouse tree AND SPEND ALL THAT TIME ON IT, you could have bought something from Hobby Lobby for less and looks better.
Last comment, be careful about flocking if you have pets that may decide to nibble on the greenery
On the second craft, I'll just buy it . Way to time-consuming
Don’t understand why other than price anyone buying jute from Dollar Tree because the gasoline smell is overwhelming. I tried to get the smell out by different methods but I ended up throwing it out. To me not worth the odor.
#2 had way too many steps. Save $ & time & just buy one. Didn't like any of these but appreciate the time to share
