When I see rip rap, I'm always grabbing a football jig. That wide head was made for fishing rocks and I lose a lot fewer of those than other types of jigs, with the exception of a swim jig, which is another type of jig I like to throw along rip rap. Because, hey, it's always a good time to throw a swim jig.

Those Academy Sports H2O crabkbaits are excellent, especially at their price point. They run true out of the box, great finishes, great hooks and split rings.

My top choice would be a spinnerbait and a soft plastic jerkbait fished on heavy mono 17 to 20 lb. Helps keep the bait up. Weighted hook if needed but as light as I can get away with.

A TRD TEXAS rigged on a #2 offset hook with a 1/32 bullet weight or supper small split shot works great .

One of my favorites is a neko rig. It comes through rock better than pretty much any finesse/slow fishing technique. I'd also add a jerkbait and a swimbait

I've got an H2O squarebill from Academy Sports. It's chewed up pretty good. You might want to change the hooks but that was a good find.

Flutter hook works great for me too , no snagging with any soft plastic , mostly swimbaits and fluke style though , works like a suspending jerkbait shallow version

I find a neko rig with a light weed guard can be good. Also twitching a Texas rig fluke along with a tiny amount of weight can work awesome if you keep it above the rocks.

After 40 years and miles of riprap on the Arkansas River, I would like to add a 6A and 7A Bomber in DFY color(dull faded yellow). 6A for more bites, 7A for fewer hangups. I'll probably get shot for letting this out. Don't know if Bombers are still made but, grab em if you can find them.

I also like a floating jerk bait or plastic jerk bait there also. I just had an idea for a new bait. Square off a bill on a jerkbait like a square bill crankbait and see if it works the same and deflects off like one.

The order you gave your selection wouldn't have been mine but they are the same. Two cover water faster my 1-2 would be the spinner bait than square bill. My partner loves the square bill so I probably will have the spinner bait. Circle around and than the top water and jig. I know picky, picky, picky !
