In this tutorial I will be using leather paints by Angelus Direct to paint an amazing retro palm and flower pattern on a pair of leather Converse shoes. You can buy the paints online here: angelusdirect.com?rfsn=1719673.25598c
The colours I used in this tutorial are: Yeezy, Infared 2014, Thunder Yellow, Mid-Navy, Concord 8, Miami Vice, Military Blue and Gold.
Caution: choose your shoes wisely! Heavy-creasing shoes (like the pair I paint in the tutorial) can sometimes have problems with the paint cracking along the crease and fold lines. If this happens, you can wet sand in the creasing area, then paint in the direction of the creasing to correct the problem.
The link above is an affiliate link to Angelus Direct, meaning that if you buy any of the products mentioned above, at no extra cost to you, I get a small commission for the sale which helps me keep on making rad tutorials!
