X plane really needs to focus on scenery and environment. They have to think of their pockets also and cater to the market of people who want to experience every facet of aviation, not just good flight dynamics and systems simulation from their stellar collection. Part of the love for simulation and that awakens your true passion for flight to the point where you want to pursue it IRL is the satisfaction of completely a flight on a nice scenic route with screenshots along the way.
I can agree with that to an extent. I think with technology gone are the days are just having a really good flight model and planes. People want more and better scenery especially since we know it’s possible.

I like competition as it drives innovation forward, I hope XP will have a fair chance against onslaught MSFS.
I don't think they can. MSFS has too many resources and LR can't keep up.
It has phenomenal physics. Definitely has the upper hand there. Meanwhile MSFS flies like a paper airplane
