leshy is my favorite character. 3op had neat mechanics but was rude and forceful. leshy has a good heart and good intentions, but went about it wrong. he simply felt that being a beast would be an honor "even one so lowly as a stoat", and wanted to share his views.
Lmao so basically Leshy was rude and forceful too, he really didn't introduced any choice whether others want to be a beast or not, he just declared that XD At least Po3 didn't kill us if we would die in his game, and frankly speaking Po3 wasn't rude that much, so many times he had choice in his game to be a dick about something, but to my surprise rarely he would use that opportunity. In the end all four scrybes are twisted and stuck in their squabbling over power. Leshy had an amazing segment of the game, i'm not arguing over that, but he was no different than Po3 or Magnificus or Grimora.

He knows he’s in a game, and he knows the person across from him is not a real person, yet upon each death he calls them “the last challenger.” Why? To add to the atmosphere of course. Leshy wants to make your experience as interesting as possible, but pO3? Po3 wants nothing more than to cause the ascension. During his story segment he constantly insults you, makes rude remarks, undercuts his own bosses (such as g0lly) and overall barely cares about the experience you’re having. Take the photographer for example. When you’re about to fight him, p03 says “this next boss is pretty cool. You’ll actually have to think about your plays.” That’s it. There’s nothing there except boring game mechanics garbage. But, say, when you fight the trapper, Leshy says, “You came across a familiar face. It was the trapper. You reached out to buy his wares but he batted you away. ‘I’m sorry, but it’ll be you who provides the pelts this time.’” There’s so much more atmosphere and actual design there.

I LOVE the fact the final boss music in act 1 is this theme, but with added themes of Prospector(distorted guitar),Angler(bass strings) and Tra(pp/d)er (that TAM TAM TAM TAM TA-RAM sound) It’s like… not only he is the same, but he is everything that happened to you before reaching him. And you understand it only when you play it again. Also, I love the fact he gave his servants additional themes, while PO3’s uberbots share the same
Im using this as the default battle theme for a group of reflavored warforged called "rogue golems". They basically want to enslave the races of flesh as vengenace for how they themselves were treated as tools prior to becoming sentient
Just because it sounds rough because of the pixelated filter, but the original works better for Leshy as a final boss and for the atmosphere of the game, easily being more epic!
