I love this foundation. Been using it for a week or so and I'm also in the color Chai. I don't like the Becca primer either. I'm super oily and my face usually looks like yours after 4-5 hours. My day is 12 hours mim due to my commute. I like NYX Angel Veil primer. I use Black Opal Soft Finishing powder to set the primer then again after foundation and it lasts!

Chai is such a great match on you! You just sold me on that alone. I'm probably hazelnut.. I have more of an warm undertone. But this really helped me out. Thanks for the review!

I would try using a different primer and using a setting powder underneath it. I did that when I tried this foundation and it held my oil at bay. It didn't start to peak through until like maybe 9 or 10 hours. it took a minute lol. But yeah this foundation is bomb! I have the exact same shade. I am impressed at how well it works on so many people. Especially us WOC. loved your video!

I used it and did the Wayne Goss method of applying setting powder first, then the foundation and it lasted 16hrs and I'm extremely oily🎉. So yeah, I think the becca primer suffocates oily skin too much making our face over produce oil😖.
kyra williams that may be because you're using a mattifying primer with a matte foundation ... I find the because primer works better with more radiant/non-matte finish foundations
Chai is perfect for you. I am seriously oily and I haven't found a primer that totally satisfies me yet! Once I start getting oily throughout the day I normally use blotting papers. They only pull the oil from your face and leaves your makeup looking freshly applied. Your makeup is very pretty and you shouldn't let the oil cause you to take it off before you're actually ready. Try the blotting papers you will be so glad you did!!!!!! And you're very pretty w/o the makeup too!
I use the ones by MaryKay. I have been using those for years. I was once a beauty consultant for MK so that's how I ended up with that brand. Still have some left over so still using those. I surely hope they all work about the same.
I'm curious did you use a setting spray? Also, when my oils start to peak through I like to use MAC Blot powder it doesn't look cakey or add any color. Maybe you could give that a try. I thought the color matched you really well! I know all too well the struggle of having to buy two shades of every foundation. Sucks! :/
Honestly I wouldn't pay $30 something dollars nor $20 something dollars for powder or foundation. I don't use foundation but I'm willing to try this one. The results I've seen for different video reviews were great. It looked great on you.

Nivea Original lotion is great. It has been my staple for over 30. I have oily skin as well and I’m 45.

Go to Sephora and get samples that's what I did and chose chai😉
