Emergency landing of United Airlines Flight 328. On February 20, 2021, a Boeing 777-200, experienced an uncontained engine failure shortly after takeoff from Denver International Airport. The right engine's fan blade broke, leading to a series of catastrophic engine failures and a large, visible fire.
The crew immediately declared an emergency and safely returned to the airport, making headlines around the world. Remarkably, there were no injuries to anyone on board or on the ground, but debris fell over a residential area.
