  • In a celebratory event held at the Ithala Training Centre, the MEC for Economic Development, Tourism, and Environmental Affairs, Rev. Musa Zondi, bid farewell to 50 young learners embarking on an innovative Electric Power Cables Manufacturing and Production Technology Learnership Programme in Gauteng.
    The ceremony marked the departure of these ambitious individuals, selected from a pool of 950 applicants, who will undertake in a intensive 18-month training programme designed to equip them with specialized skills in electric power cables manufacturing. This initiative is part of a strategic collaboration with Mwanga Afrika Cables (Pty) Ltd and South Ocean Wire Electric Company, aiming to address the significant challenge of unemployment and enhance the technical workforce.
