Thank you for the video 👍. I just wanted to add something... You can access vortex mode on smooth q3 by pressing mode button three times, I believe. The other thing, which some people will find very important as I did, but only when I tested it out (should have done better research 😅), smooth q3 has got only 80 degree tilt angle. Smooth 5 has got over 200 degrees tilt angle, which means q3 won't be able to do jib shot at all. You can't have the gimbal horizontally with phone facing forward. I'm thinking selling mine because of that and buying smooth 5. All in all... Great video

So on the Zhiyun 3 g there no need to open the screw on the gimbal near where phone rest on gimbal ?! Also you claimed on your site you have a tool to calibrate this gimbal ?!

I’m even more confused now because if I’m spending $209 for a smooth 5, should I just spend $189 for the moza mini p and use it with all my cameras 📸 because we don’t really use the apps besides just the tracking app 🤔 But I’m really impressed with the smooth 5
Great video!! Both the gimbals look pretty easy to use. What's the learning curve on the smooth 5. I tried using a dji om 4 and hated that I couldn't really do a low and transition up without doing a weird side thing with the gimbal. And times it would get glichy, which surprised me as there drones are so good. I'm leaning towards the smooth 5 as I like that all the controls are on the gimbal which I guess you could use a third-party camera app like filmic pro. I'm pretty new to filming with a smartphone and I'm needing a gimbal because I have shaky hands, and I've tried tripods,mounts and stationary video and every trick but it limits what I can do. I'd rather have better video quality over portability, and was wanting to buy a bag for my laptop anyways so a camera bag with laptop storage would be ideal I guess. And Thankfully it being Christmas I received some Amazon gift cards I would only have to add $100🇨🇦 to pay for it. The combo deal for the Smooth 5 seems to be a bit expensive though, is it worth it ?
learning curve is pretty similar on both to be honest. the smooth 5 definitely is the more solid gimbal.. its a little bigger, heavier and just stronger and more solid.
Their cami app with the Experimental for option for Android users, when enable experimental, all the frame rate options are available in the shooting mode.

Probably, but just don‘t use the silicon case whilst using the gimbal

you can just put your phone in, turn it on and use whatever app you want
