Eberron is an amazing setting. The fact that it even attempts to set up the economy with respect to lore and magic makes it better than most.

I really recommend checking out some of the lore from one of the continents of Eberron, Xen'Drik. Basically, the quori from Dal Quor were invading due to the plane being coterminous, but the giants managed to destroy the connection between Eberron and Dal Quor, but caused arcane chaos in the process, basically cursing all of Xen'Drik and destroying their empire. Currently running a campaign there 👍👍👍
I love that they included Cyre in the Ravenloft book recently.
Also Cyre/Mournlands, reminds me of 'The Fold' in Shadow and Bone. (In fact Shadow and Bone reminds me very heavily of Eberron).

I'm planning a campaign soon that's going to trick my players. We're going to start in Cyre, the day the Mourning happens, and they all board a certain train numbered 1313... Needless to say they'll be surprised to see that their last stop will end up in Barovia, the true start of the campaign!

I challenge you to make a video like "How to get your friends to play D&D." I'm trying to get my girlfriend and friends into D&D and don't know how to go about it. Should I start with their own individual characters, or plan a session I think they'd all like and start there? ELP
