You have a knack for distilling the essence of a song into an arrangement that is not overly complicated yet retains the "feel" of the original recording, so I have a suggestion for future videos. I would like to see you play and sing full arrangements of some of the 600 songs as you did on the cruise ship, but without the "3 step" process. (You already detail that process in many videos and you already tell the students where to get the lead sheets, etc so you don't need it for all these other songs.) In other words, a video of just the songs played and sung with the full view of the keyboard. Thank you.
That's nonsense! People transpose songs all the time and it has no effect on whether the songs sounds real or fake. Billy Joel doesn't perform all of his songs in the original keys anymore and neither does Elton John. EVERYBODY transposes. Would you like me to break it down for you in a video to explain how different keys work?
@@PianoandVoicewithBrenda It would be an interesting lesson to show how different keys have different feelings. For example, the key of Bb sounds "mellow", the key of G "jangly", the key of E, "strong", etc. It has to do with the individual notes that comprise the key. For example, an F# note sounds "buzzy" or "edgy" but a Bb note sounds "mellow", no matter what instrument its played on. (I am talking about within the standard equally tempered tuning system.)

Gal you enjoyed it!!
please do' You win again' by the great Jerry lee
Love lies bleeding please
What type of piano do you have?
👍
I hope you do it in the original key. It loses its "edge" and sounds "fake" in another key.
