I'm now 14 and when I saw this for the first time when I was 6 it was the dance that made me go that's what I want to do. 8 years later I have been doing dance for 5 years and this is my first year doing ballroom and Latin, and strictly is my goal still to this day.
All opinion but I don't think there has (and ever will be) a better Tango than this, the musicality, the realness, the dance as a reflection of a situation. It's just soooo good. I could write a point by point essay on it.
For me it's the best Argentine tango out of all the series put together. Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni come a very close second with theirs. Stunning!!!!!!!!
This was absolutely electric on the tour. I don't say this often, but seeing it on tv really doesn't do this justice. The crowd did a standing ovation, and wouldn't stop cheering and drumming feet for well over a minute afterwards. It was so special.
Have been waiting YEARS for Vincent and Flavia to dance to this perfect piece of argentine tango music. Great scene in moulin rouge and fab rendition by Simon and Kristina

How this guy has ended up in the bottom two TWICE I don't know but BLOODY HELL this dance has hopefully secured him a home-run to the semi-finals at least! Stunning, sensual, dramatic, plenty of sexuality....I will ignore Craig's preposterous 8 the tight-wad! So deserved a perfect score for this!

My favourite dance with my favourite song ever and there is a purple theme going on (my favourite colour)...all my favourites rolled into one absolutely perfect dance (which IMHO should have got 4 tens, it was flawless!)
I could not agree more with your comment. I just wish this time around this talented lady Kristina wins this competition. She has been underrated over the years, people just notice her beauty, but there is a brain behind these amazing choreographies. Let us vote for these amazing dancers!
We must keep voting for them though. Too much controversy about Len's right decision to keep Simon and Kristina LAST Saturday. Both couples did not deserve to be in that position! Kristina is an amazing dancer and Simon has become an amazing dancer because of her teaching.
after all this time I still have to watch this routine one in a while - it fills me up to bursting. Kristina found an excellence in Simon that he probably didn't know he had, the woman is a genius and I miss her on Strictly. The Argentinian Tango they performed at Blackpool was magical, sexy, delicious, pure pleasure. Those four judges were completely knocked out and when they watched it performed again in the final they were filled with emotion I have never seen before or since on Strictly.
Still come back and watch this, the feel for the music, technique all done at such perfection. This should have got straight 40. Darcy was in tears it was that good. I swore when I watched it live, it is unreal how it can be that good.
Absolutely amasing!! My pulse is still racing!! Much is made of the female celebs putting in strong performances each week & little credit for the male celebs trying to perform & lead. Craig love you, but you got this one wrong. It was the dance of the season so far & deserved more than the 8 you gave.
Kristina body is unlike all the other female pros its has a more athletic tone to on her frame and plus she has a beautiful face. On SCD she is my favorite female pro of all of them.
