Thank you for these videos, Father. I attended seminary in Portland as a Protestant, moved back to the east coast and have since converted to Catholicism. It’s like finding the treasure in the field. Such a joy! I’m currently in a time of discerning. Pray for me! 🙏🏼
I love stories about saint magdalene's family. Notice when she visited the governor she had to visit. 3 times and lived in the cave for 30 years. These numbers pay homage to our triune God YHWH.
I don't believe the Dan Brown fiction that Mary Magdalene was married to Jesus and came to France pregnant after his Crucifixion. The Bible answers this blasphemy ahead of time in the incident where Jesus would not allow Mary M to touch him after his Resurrection. So if he wouldn't allow MM to touch him, how on earth could they have had a child together? Beyond that the importance and necessity of the celibacy of Jesus as well as the perpetual virginity of Mary begins with the very first prophecy of the Bible: Genesis 3:15--"I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.” "You" is the Devil. "the woman" is Mary. "Her offspring" is Jesus. God is addressing the Devil ("you"), and telling the Devil that there will be enmity between him and "the woman" (Mary) and between the offspring of the Devil and the offspring of Mary. The offspring of the devil is an actual, physical bloodline, beginning with Cain when the Devil seduced Eve in the Garden. Who is the offspring of Mary? Of course, it's Jesus. So the offspring of the Devil is an actual, physical bloodline, still present today, Kenites. Jesus calls them the Tares in the Parable of the Wheat and the Tares. This bloodline is present in the so-called "royal" bloodlines and in elites today, the sociopaths who rule the world. Temporarily. But who are the "seed of the woman" today on the earth? Mary's virginity is important because it establishes that she had no other children after Jesus. And Jesus was celibate, so he did not father any children. So who are the "seed of the woman" today on the earth? Both Mary and Jesus are gone from the earth and they left no physical descendants. Yet God says in Genesis 3:15 that there is enmity between these two "seeds." The seed of the Devil is actual physical, bloodline descendants, with the Devil as their original paternity. But the seed of the woman are not physical descendants of the woman or of Jesus, but rather, are adopted into the bloodline of Christ. It's an adoption process to become the seed of the woman, by first accepting Christ as Savior. It's a spiritual adoption process called being "born again," because this birth has nothing to do with being in a physical bloodline, as does that of the descendants of Satan. This is what Jesus meant in his conversation with Nicodemus when Jesus was surprised that Nicodemus, as an educated Pharisee, did not know about the salvation process, "being born again," as a spiritual process of adoption versus the physical birth process. Yes, we're all born in sin. But we can become adopted into salvation. And that's the importance of Jesus' shedding his blood. We're not of his physical blood, we are of fallen blood, but we can be adopted into the seed of the woman through his sacrifice of himself. The importance of drinking the blood in Communion is an important way to maintain this adoption state. John said it best in John 1:12,13--"Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God--children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God." So while the children of the Devil are part of a specific, exclusive bloodline of elites, the children of God can be of any bloodline, any nationality, race, or ethnicity, or either sex. So this is the importance of the celibacy of Christ and the virginity of Mary, for inclusiveness. Being part of their bloodline, being adopted into salvation is then open to everybody who chooses it. If Mary had had other children or if Jesus had married and had children, then Genesis 3:15 would be limited only to the physical/blood descendants of Mary and Jesus, a limited and exclusive group of people. Most people would not be eligible for salvation. On the other hand, the Devil's bloodline is open only to elites, the sociopaths who rule the world. But the bloodline of Christ is open to anybody and everybody who accepts him and repents and partakes of the Eucharist & Sacraments. Kenites can still be adopted into the bloodline of the seed of the woman while the Church age lasts, the same way everybody else is, by accepting Christ as Savior and the adoption process of being born again, but most of them don't accept this.
