Take A Break In The Mornings! Get Your Coffee And Then Put On Some Chill Music And Do Some Morning Stretches! Eat A Nice Breakfast And Catch Up On Your Family!
Ever since I was 7, I cooked for myself. Actually once when I was like 5 I wanted to make orange muffins, but the recipe (I made up) required melted butter and I wasn't allowed to use stoves. So what did I do? I put some butter in a container and held in front of a heater until it melted. The muffins actually tasted pretty good5
When I was 10, mom made me make my own breakfast. Those days of eating toasted and stale corn muffins and my mom yelling at me for setting the temperature to high. Good times :)
Graduating high school this year. I'm glad that my parents raised me to be used to do most of these basic life skills such as laundry, cooking, and cleaning dishes. Although, I still know nothing about taxes and my knowledge to car maintenance is next to nothing. Also yeah, work life balance is a big one, I end up working too much since I've been taking two college courses along with 4 other high classes per semester during my Junior and Senior year. Pros: I cut off at least a year from the time I spend in college. I save money from less time in college and all of these courses are free as long as I pass them the first time. Also it prepares me for the intense course load being a Pre-med student will require, then hopefully a full on medical student assuming I pass the MCAT and do well on all the other requirements. Cons: Leaves next to no time for extracurriculars or other hobbies besides exercise. I'm just really tired a lot despite getting my 8 hours of sleep every night. Literally no socialization with people my age outside of an academic setting except the one weekly club I go to in attempt to relieve that. (Being a military kid sucks when you're in a school when most people have known each other since kindergarten, makes it hard to make friends when people already have their own friend groups). Note: Also the part where James talked about how working at home sucked because it was like having his own boss in his 24/7 is so relatable. It happens to me so much. My brain is like, you could be studying right now, you should review the chapters you finished your notes on, you should review the essential chemical formulas you need for anions and cations, you're already forgetting some of them.
I'm only 23 so I sort of feel like I'm just starting to become a true adult. Throughout college, I did work, but I was living at my parents and driving to school everyday. So, I'm just now moving out, paying my bills, and trying to figure out what I want to do. I think the most important thing to do is to find something you love to do, and make sure you're doing it consistently. If you're working a job you dislike and just go through the motions, you'll feel more down and sad. So, fit some hobbies into your schedule so you still feel fulfilled at the end of your day. Also, make time for friends. Having people you enjoy being around and doing things you love, help you from falling into the rut of bring an adult
I do not really get American tax system. For Germany, like our health care, the tax are automatically subtracted from your salary and if we do a tax report, we do it to see if we could get money back. Like if you use the train to get to work and keep the tickets as proof, you get money from the government.
Ayyy deutsch!!! Moin Moin! Und dieser Schnabeltier 😂 wir hatten auf jeden Fall so was nicht...nur sexualkunde- aber ich bin noch nicht in der 8.Klasse aber ich denke so was gibt es hier nicht
Same thing pretty much. America has tax credits. Unfortunately they are structured in a way that doesn't benefit everyone but only social type programs due to politicians feeding the "free" narratives to get elected. So if you are a single male like me, with no kids and work hard, the government will take 25%-30% of what you are entitled to, with little actual benefits in return for what they are taking. I formed an LLC for this reason ... to play the game. Cracks me up they steal money from me to pay for peoples health care who refuse to workout and eat right.
I think high school _tried_ to teach me how to do bills & write checks - but since I was a slow learner ( and I completely forgot how to do that shit. It's been _years_ since I was last in high school ), and I almost failed the class: I didn't learn very much. All I knew was that it wasn't fun, but it was definitely a requirement. Although I'm out of school, I'm _still_ not ready to face adulthood despite being _in_ it. So, I hope I properly learn _hoe_ to do it soon.
Fun fact, if you have US citizenship and live outside the us, you have to pay taxes where you live, AND us taxes, because they reaaaaally dont want you to leave. The only way to get away is to pay thousands to give up your us citizenship
So I just turned 30 less than a week ago. I don't think I'm a great example of handling aging and progressing through life. One thing I can say though is not to hold yourself back. Don't let fear or failure or complacency keep you from growing, or keep you stagnant. I wasted a lot of time by just not trying for various reasons, and it is definitely better to make some sort of effort in some direction than to do nothing at all. It's worth trying.
My whole family rlly loves cooking so as long as I could remember my brothers and I had kind of always helped with cooking. Obviously we started with *super* basic stuff like stirring or mixing something when we were rlly little but yeah we kind of grew up in the kitchen. Idk I guess for me it feels kind of hard to gauge what is considered “normal” cooking knowledge for kids and at what age
27, here. My advice, study during vacations from school even holidays, get a tutor to help you even. And if things don't work out for you or confuses you, reach out and ask questions.
I don't want to know what my sleep schedule will be like when I'm older because I'm in middle school and I'm already staying up to 12:00a.m and waking up at 4:00a.m and somehow I'm able to get through the day without feeling tired...until P.E when I almost pasted out and my vision went blurry because of my lack of water intake and staying up all night...but that's a whole another story!(plz don't turn the replies into a "I have a worse sleep schedule"or a "I have worse problems" competition)
I dont know if you'll see this, but even though you have turned it down a lot already, in my opinion the intro is still a little too loud and if I dont remember it I will have a miniature heart attack and my eardrums have one too, so maybe tune it down like 3 or 4% I'd appreciate it and I think a lot of people would too, love your content btw
@@PrisonPlaysFNAF yeah but I can't always remember it's there and when I do I think it's mildly annoying when I click the video, turn it down, then after a few seconds, turn it up because I can't hear anything
I’m not even close to 20 far from it but I’d say both, you get to be independent and do life how you want it to be, but in the flip side you will be broke af, depressed
Do not get into debt at all!!!! If you can't buy it with money your have right now you do not need it. Work hard and save for it but please do not go into debt! It is not worth it!
What type of tips would you give someone entering their 20’s?
