Teachers: Will Your TRS Be Enough? - Walk & Talk

First, I applaud our great teachers: Thank you!
There are two important components of your TRS that we need to pay close attention to: 1) When are you eligible to retire (Rule of 80), and 2) your years of service.
For many teachers your TRS may not be as much as you think or enough to fuel your full retirement and may need to be complemented by other sources.
