It definitely can’t work in current RPG AC but if they went to classic AC I think it could work. It would just be pretty hardcore. I think Stealth would be far more emphasized and necessary (which I think would make it better).
Here's my hypothetical AC WW2 Game: The character plays as a young, recently initiated Polish Assassin. Much like 2, you start when your character is young, using your early training as a tutorial. The game would begin in earnest in 1939, just days before the true start of the war. You're walking the streets of Warsaw with your father, a high ranking Assassin, talking idly, with examples of banter being him admonishing you for cursing using Yiddish, but soon the conversation turns to the tensions rising. Then, the two hear a radio broadcast from the Polish government about the invasion of the Wehrmacht and the Soviet Union. Your character is sent out of Poland by their father to attend a truce meeting between the Templars and Assassin's in as of now neutral France with their mother. The protagonist leaves their home just in time to hear the Polish government announce the Nazi's have occupied Warsaw. It then cuts several months later in 1940. Turns out the Templars are, for the most part, opposed to the Nazi's, and want to create a truce to deal with them and the Soviet Union. Unfortunately, both orders have been infiltrated by spies from both the Nazi's and the Soviets, who sue the meeting as an ambush. Many members from both orders are killed, including the protagonist's mother, who orders them to flee to England and meet up with an old friend of her's, Lydia Frye. The game(s) would then follow the protagonist as they carry out missions for teh Brotherhood to stop the Nazi's from finding First Civilization artifacts. For example, the first gamer could take place in Cairo, as you attempt to stop the occupying forces from discovering artifacts hidden by Bayek. Then the next game would be in Italy, Rome specifically, as Mussolini's regime is hunting for Assassin records hidden by Ezio. Finally, the last game would follow events such as the Warsaw Uprising, the Liberation of Paris, D-Day, etc. Along the way, you make allies with both Assassin's and Templars, culminating in the two sides banding together to raid Hitler's bunker, only to find that he's already killed himself. Very long, but I've been brainstorming this for a very long time.
I also have a ton of ideas for such a game. I was thinking the protagonist would be a Jewish, secretly bi, native German who was a huge supporter of the Weimar Republic, despite it's flaws. When Hitler takes power, he joins the local Assassin's Brotherhood. I was thinking he would be a dark haired man with short hair, a mustache, and round glasses. His outfit would be a dark green uniform. (Basically imagine an American uniform, except with a hood, and those weird leg capes Assassins wear.) He would also wear a helmet under his hood with the Star of David on the front. It's revealed that the Allies had planted a spy in their ranks. The Allies propose an alliance in which they would fully fund the Assassins operations and fully cover up their involvement in the war in exchange for the help of the Brotherhood in the fight against Nazi Germany, Facist Italy, and Imperial Japan. The protagonist would get control of his own elite squad, and a highly modified, and upgradable naval cruiser. (This game's version of the Aquila, Jackdaw, or Morrigan.) He would be armed with a variety of hidden blade types that could be swapped out, and customized. (Phantom blade, hook blade, etc.) His default melee arm would a combat knife, hidden blade combo (Like with Desmond), and his default ranged arm would be a pump-action shotgun. The default side arms would be dual automatic pistols. (This game would have the best ranged combat system of any AC game for obvious reasons.) Additionally, you would have a WWI cutlass, but it's not customizable, and is only available for finisher animations. He would have an air rifle with a bayonet. (For it's appearance, I imagined it to look something like the Sydney Sleeper form TF2, but with engravings on the body, like on the AC: 4 blowpipe.) He would have different types of land mines. (Anti tank, smoke, sleep, berserk.) Those could be triggered by vehicles or soldiers. In AC, you attract enemies by whistling, but, for vehicles, it would be difficult to be heard over the engine. So, for vehicles, you could quickly shoot them once to attract them to mines, or for hijacking. He will be really skilled with eagle sense, and I want the aesthetic of the eagle sense to somewhat resemble the look of infrared. (If that makes any sense.) The main POE would be "The Armory" which would be a network of hidden Isu weapon storehouses. They are located throughout the maps, and you have to destroy them. Another open world activity would be liberating concentration camps. The map will be huge, spanning from Poland, to France, to Egypt, to Russia, to Japan. The fast travel mechanism will be using a plane to leap of faith/parachute to your destination. At you will develop a friendship with the pilot, only for her to die halfway through the story. I haven't fully fleshed out the story, but here's what I have so far: You start with the combat tutorial mission, then you guard your mentor while he's making a deal with an Allied ambassador. (I want the mentor's Assassin robes to look like a general uniform, except it's black and red, and has a hood.) yo have to chase down a German spy, then yell at him for betraying the republic. Next, you do the stealth tutorial on practice dummies while getting set up as an Allied agent. All your squad mates get one hidden blade each, and you teach them how to wield it. Next, you assault a Templar camp, where your squad mates put their blades to good use. At some point, you encounter a concentration camp (Which is the tutorial for that open world activity.) The protagonist is so enraged with what he discovers, that he beats the leader to death. He will then have a huge obsession with assassinating Hitler. You parachute into France during D-Day, fight with your ship in the Pacific theatre, and have to defend your Assassin hideout in a ruined European town from a Templar assault. (Similar to the end of Saving Private Ryan.) You fail, and the European brotherhood almost goes extinct, and has to retreat. Your mentor instructs you to do an epic combat mission in Berlin, fighting through waves of enemies, until you get to Hitler's bunker, kill his guards, disarm him, and kill him with his own gun. You also go to Japan, and have to survive the Atomic bombing. flash forward, It's the Cold War, he's in his sixties, retired, and he has to use his modern Assassin gear to defend the brotherhood from Templars, one last time. He sacrifices his life, succumbing to his wounds, exhaustion, and his cancer from his radiation poisoning he got years ago. (Hiroshima.) The modern day story would feature an introverted Iranian American highschooler who's part of the brotherhood, and betrays the Creed by using his Assassin skills to assert his dominance in school. The modern day will connect with the open world by doing missions in the Animus unlocks missions to do in the modern day. (He uses his intel learned from the memories.) Lastly, I have an idea for a cool line: A Templar is confronting the protagonist about his ideology, and how much better Earth would be under Templar rule. His response is: "I may be completely wrong, but the devil I know is better than the devil I don't know."
@@m4sherman926 true if they made the game more stealth-focused like the original AC then the MC might have a chance but the technology advance would make it hard, maybe they could introduce a system where you can disable rapid gunfire or destroy tanks somehow?

Carrying a secret strong witted with crest of the creed apon his back. Against his sgt's orders, he rides up in a C47 Skytrain, over the dead land of Nazi infested lands. The Brotherhood of his creed riding up with him. Followed by the shadow of night, the roar of the engine as they fly over. Little known, allies were on the ground, looking up to this single, brave, suicidal aircraft. A shreak of an eagle as these shadowed, scarce, threatening brothers leaped into the flak fire of the AA guns. Shortly, 1 gun, 2 guns, 3 guns, 4 and so on; ceased fire. Shots ringing out throughout the city, cries of men as they can't see what's in the dark. Scared. Shaking. On edge. Then all goes quiet, the allies, themselves, wondering what's the commotion. A single man, hooded, tall, lean- A Soldier. Warrier of the dark, warrier of the eagle. An Assassin. One for the creed, emerges from smoke and ash. Bloodied from other than his own blood. Handing cordinates to where the main threat of the world may be located. (flash to the assassination of the fuhrer) Adolf, in an unoccupied apartment, well aware of this creed still alive and hiding, stronger than ever. The quietness getting to him, shot after shot of alcohol. Knowing he'll see an emotionless face. The hood. The Crest. The Creed. The legends were true. The creed lives on! And they've discovered his secret of being one of the templars. Another roaring engines echoes into the dark skies. Sirens reign. Bam! Collision made with the aircraft. The screams of the engines goes faster and faster as it plumments to thet ground. Before impact, a shreak. A bone chilling, deafening shreak of the known eagle. Crash! Then silence.. Is it over? No, not in the slightest. A thump of a man, this soldier. On the fuhrer's balcony. A sihlouette of the man steps forward. Silence. This was it. No escape. This soldier raises his arm, a pistol. "You're not worthy of the blades on my wrists. Not worthy of a confession. This bullet, a reminder to the world that you. Hitler, are no god. You, are now felled by the hands of the creed". A shot rings out throughout the neighborhood. Seconds later, men barge into the room. The soldier was gone. All that remained was the main man, the man of which caused so much unecessary death. The Fuhrer. Adolf Hitler laid. Dead. A single bullet wound to the head. It was now over. The war was won. The Allies could now rest. The Creed, going back into hiding. As if they've never exsisted throughout history.

Famous Germans the Assassins could use as allies. Col. Claus von Stauffenberg: the head of Operation Valkryrie, a German plot to assassinate Adolf Hitler on July 20, 1944. Oskar Schindler: a business man who ran the concentration camp in Krakow, saving over 1200 people from Auschwitz. Josef Gangl: a military officer who gave his life defending POWs at Castle Itter from Waffen-SS. Walther Wenck: a general who, rather than fight the Soviets at Berlin, created an escape route, permitting thousands of civilians and soldiers to escape from Berlin to safety. Erwin Rommel: in exchange for safe conduct for his men away from Patton and Montgomery, Rommel forsakes the war in Africa and later gives the Assassins weak points to attack in the defenses of the Normandy beaches. Karl Wiedenhofen: an anti-Nazi resistance member who negotiated the surrender of Dusseldorf with the Allies in order to spare it from bombing. Wichard von Alvensleben: A military officer who fought to liberate POWs from Waffen-SS.

Lorewise Assassins have killed Hitler when he was exiting his bunker

@@drowningindanile7184 I think it truly depends of the the story they'll tell. I would find it fitting for the assassins to be part of the French Resistance. They would infiltrate places and gather informations. Fighting in the darkness to help the armies liberating Europe. @@mikeroz3942 what about ww1
@@Pluto1336I hope they just make it good and not have the Germans(of ww1) be just the bad guy. Hell I think it would be really creative and cool if the Germans actually worked with the assassins and the entente apart of the templars that way we can point to this historic event whenever people wonder why the modern day feels so heavily one sided and why the assassins constantly feel at a disadvantage.
Hell it might have a combination of ac3 and syndicate combat
Reminds me of the soundtrack that plays occasionally during the WW1 section of Assassin's Creed Syndicate. Good work. ☺️
Sniper Elite 4 its a great example of what it could be. Just expand the parkour mechanics 5 times and you got it
Man this is better than Ubisoft will ever do in WW2(Except for Ubisoft Montréal).
The title for this game : ,,Assasin’s creed Independent”
I would love to see an Assassins Creed game based in World War II
It would be cool if the camps like in other Assassin's Creed games are concentration camps and you have to clear them and free prisoners
Imagine a Assassin's Creed game set in Nazi Germany where the main character is a run away Jew from a concentration camp that lost his entire family to the nazi regime and eventually stumbles across the creed and when he becomes an assassin he goes and frees Jews and sets Jews free from concentration canps and at the end he’s the one that assassinates Hitler and they fight while Hitler is in possession of a piece of eden like an apple of Eden. And imagine the leap of faith scene with the air born units and the assassin is the reason for the Screaming Eagles airborne. And imagine if the main character assassin in the game wears a dark grey assassin coat with a blood stained yellow Star of David on his hood, it would literally be the mark of death to any Nazi and he has a variant of Ezios wrist gun that’s a semi auto.
Amazing, beautiful, .
Long live the Assassins'!!!
Assassin's Creed: Uprising
The man, last name of Kenway. Part of the 101st. Fearless, disciplined. Feared by others by his skill and wits and ability to see the unseen.
Sounds amazing ! But with 1 flaw, Hitler in AC lore was killed by assassins while exiting his bunker at the end of war

What the hell does a Japanese character do in the Ottoman Empire during WWI ?
@@Retaliatixn Everything has a story... But of course, it can't plunge headlong into the battlefield... I'm thinking of doing it better than Assassin's Creed, primarily the Japanese Empire, which was affected by the war periods... He begins to train his people in his student years... His clothes are strengthened and then he is given belts for weapons and bags and weapon scabbards so he can carry materials... Coming to the story, it will be to tell the history by fictionalizing it, but without taking it away from the truth... There will be two sides, one of which is the Student Council, which was first established as the Council. The other is the enemy group whose aim is to keep the Ottoman Empire under their control... Also, the Japanese Empire The warriors they train leave the uniforms of the schools where they are trained... So, in a way, the students gathered by the Templars of the Japanese Empire for the sake of war...

Honestly if assassin’s creed were to ever cover the 2nd world war I’d rather see them tackle the pacific theater/Japan side of things I’ve always thought one of the appeals of the series is that it covered area’s and time periods not really explored in video games and while there are pacific theater set games I’d love to see a deep dive into that side of the war plus people have been clamoring for a ninja assassins creed and since ghost of Tsushima beat them to the punch why not tackle that concept with a unique twist
