Hey Synthartist69, my name is Brent Jeffers, I'm Jonathan Cains Keyboard tech, Just for your Info, He didn't buy just 1 Jupiter 80, He bought 3, There you go
i have a kronos im getting a jupiiter 80 to go with it perfect match the kronos does things different and they serve different purposes the kronos cant touch the analog sounds
Hope not, mine just came yesterday, its even beefier than my Jupiter 8 was. There is no way I'd want to heft this thing around to gigs unless roadies did it for me lol. If I ever do live gigs again its Korg Microkeys and iPads for me :)
Even when a professional like Cain uses this instrument it's still not enough to convince the naysayers. I believe he knows more than we do. Who cares if it doesn't sound exactly like separate ways. No synth will. Only the Jupiter 8 will. I think it wasn't very smart of u to get rid of it. It's a great synth. I don't think you were able to get the full potential of it otherwise I really think u would have kept it.
May God bless and protect Jonathan Cain.

But has he played a Kronos X 88key yet. He might like that better?
My first keyboard was also Jupiter-8
The original? Lucky.
@@ironinquisitor3656 I was working at Roland Benelux in Europe at the time.
@@dirkkeersmaekers4343 That's cool.
The JP-80 is a contender.
I want one. I need one. I'm dying for one. I love the Jupiter 80. But I am poor.
Roland, please, it's vital for me
But why didn't he try the "Separate Ways" riff on the Jup 80 for us there?
I am pretty sure he would!

Mr. Cain said that when the Jupiter 8 came out he bought two of them. But when the Jupiter 80 came out he only bought one...
No one notes the integra 7 over the Jup! Linked on Ipad

Why would Jonathan Cain buy 3? Are they that unreliable?
+Chris Strobel Probably.

@@chrisstrobel3439 It’s lighter than most digital pianos and easily giggable.
even as we are going in to 2023, Jonathan STILL USES the Roland Jupiter 80.
Yeah sure I'll get one there only 3 thousand dollars!
