Hey love your channel!!! I’m attending uhm this fall and your videos are really helping me out:)). I was wondering if you could do a little video or give your opinion/info on the bus system? Also if you recommend getting a moped or not? Also if you have time showing clips of the food court would be super helpful:).
Hi! Sorry I didn't see this question before making my Q&A video lol. The bus system is pretty good in my opinion. I have an app called DaBus2 and it tells u bus stops, the times they arrive/leave, and shows the route with a gps. It's very helpful getting around, it's more accurate than maps. The mall Ala Moana Center is about 20-30 minutes from the dorms by bus. and the beach is about 15-20. It's really not bad at all. The most common bus everyone takes that takes you pretty much everywhere you need to go is bus #13. There's also a trolly/shuttle that goes through campus and the dorms too, the school shuttle has the same route as the #13 bus, except it doesn't go past school unlike the city bus lol. They're also big on sitting in the handicap section so don't sit in it lol. And the bus does get really crowded sometimes so I would suggest wearing a mask on the bus. About the mopeds, honestly I wouldn't suggest getting one. They're expensive to get (a couple thousand $), gotta pay for gas, gotta get a lock, you have to get a parking permit/pass, etc. Like for all that you might as well take the bus. It's free with your student ID. I honestly just don't think it's worth it. If your gunna get that then might as well get a car that does all the same things you know? But I don't even think a car is worth it either since everything is within a 20 minute bus ride. And lastly, I do plan on making a video maybe Monday showing the cafeterias ;) Hope this helps!

Love your videos!! How has long has it taken you to adjust to living in dorms/hawaii in general? I’m also going to be an out of state student, so I wanna know how that’s been :) How much do you spend in a day/week as a student at UHM? Also how would you rate your overall experience so far?
