Thanks for the video of your trip. I am really enjoying it. I’m in Florida.and especially enjoy seeing new places. Looking forward to the rest of the trip.
Love your trips!! Australia is so beautiful, I called into Roma also at about the same time and everything looks gorgeous!! You two are naturals on camera and showing everything we love to see!! Thanks for showing your holiday, I love the music too, so professional!
Well done girls, I have driven those roads in my motorhome. It’s a good job there isn’t much traffic on the country roads, because you are all over the road dodging the road kill, and yes, we always come across road works on our travels, which is a good thing because our roads are being maintained. I imagine there are a lot of grey nomads on the road, we unfortunately are not one of them this year.
Beautiful trip! Thank you so much for sharing your travels. I have always wanted to see Australia and this was a wonderful video. I felt like I was there! Have a wonderful time!
It's great watching your trip. I'm looking forward to seeing the Magnetic Island video. I used to live on Maggie Island in Nelly Bay, our kids went to primary school there and the older ones had to catch the Ferry to Townsville to go to high school. Have fun.
22 hours! I would have been saying "are we there yet" just about as soon as you left Newcastle lol. I think the cotton blows out of the trucks transporting it. When we were first married (45 years ago) we went to visit relatives at Wee Waa and there was cotton everywhere!
I lived in Townsville back In the 90’s so looking forward to seeing how the place has progressed in past 30 yrs lol 😝 having done the drive Melb to Townsville quite a few times I know how lonely those roads are (not to mention the Roos & every other animal which seems out to get you as you travel along) great vid girls x
Kangaroos are definitley one of the hazards when driving on country roads in Australia. I personally know of many people who have hit them, luckily only the cars were damaged not the people. I had a near miss where I had to pull up quickly with the kangaroo only a foot away from my car, it just stopped right in front of my car and looked at me. I have had other near misses but that was the worst one. Hope you stay safe and enjoy your break. Love from South Australia 🇦🇺
That was a massive drive. Well done for getting through it. In 2015 we drove from Sydney to Brisbane in one go (only food/toilet brakes) and I said never again. It was soooo draining...When I was in Canada in June, my Dad hit a moose on the highway. Moose was killed and Dad's car was a write-off...They are likely the kangaroos, just step out of nowhere and suddenly in front of you. Even with them being so big, they just appear suddenly...Looking forward to the magnetic island vid. I've never been there...
THANK YOU for inviting us on this journey. God speed. ❤️
Thank you

Enjoy. We should have a few vlogs of this trip
I like that you are going the inland route because everyone knows the coastal route and I think inland Qld is not appreciated enough for it's beauty.
We are coming back down the coastal way so wanted to do the inland on the way up

Yes the Roos are scary
Have fun Girls
Thank you
That’s a hard drive! The kangaroos must be like the deer here (Connecticut, US): they come out of nowhere & can total your car. Be safe 🧸
Yes I think they are
It's way cheaper and better to fly and hire a car.
But good on you.
We looked into it and hiring a car for three weeks and a one way drive from townsville to Gold Coast was really expensive
