Thickness/ Gauge
Example. G35, G32, G30, G28, G26
G35 = 0.21mm TCT
G30 = 0.30mm TCT
G24 = 0.47mm TCT
The higher the gauge number, the thinner the metal deck.
The lower the gauge number, the thicker or heavier the steel.
*TCT - Total Coated Thickness - measures the steel substrate as well as the metallic coating, resin coating and/or paint film.
Colour/ Warna
Prepainted - Standard Colour & Special Colour
No Colour - Aluminium Zinc/ Zinc Aluminium
Zinc - easier to shape, sturdy, but relatively low corrosion resistance, and prone to rust.
Aluminium - lightweight metal, flexible. Aluminium corrodes but it does not rust.
The combination of both aluminium & zinc - improve its strength, corrosion and heat resistance, and does not get rusty.
